Sigs and Avatars!

Alright so I go to the request forum and get a guy to make me a really good sig and avatar but when I go to put them in, no matter what I do, I always get 'Cannot determin the size of the image' or something like that, then I try to find somewhere on the site for help on this but there is nothing I could find. This makes me mad! Can someone help me with this please?

It's probably either not a .JPG .GIF or .PNG file or it's too big for the system, try resizing it on iaza.com or request it to be smaller.

Its already in .JPG format and its within the accepted size, I tried to change the size at the website anyway but when I tried to change the size it messed up. Thanks for trying. Any other suggestions?

Then it probably means the file size instead of the pixel size...not sure how to change that though.

Well thanks for trying anyway.
