No,I believe Kovu and Vitani had enough screen time.

I felt that the cubs' childhoods were rushed, so yes.

What about Nuka?

I don't think any of the Outlanders got enough screentime compared to Kiara. I really wish Vitani would have had more of a part - wouldn't it have been cool if she had caught Kovu playing with Kiara instead of Zira?

I don't think they had enough screen time. =/ They should have had atleast a little more screentime as cubs.

It might seem rushed because when Disney released the film, they overhyped it with cub merchandise, so everyone was expecting a cub-themed movie.

Yeah, the only time you see Kovu interacting with Vitani directly is "Hey Kovu, wanna fight?"

I believe that all Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu and Vitani were cooler as cubs, and sure, I'm not saying they should cut out them being adults althogether, but I'm very unhappy at how little time they gave Vitani on screen. I think that she, being Kovu's sister, an outlander but sort of a good guy makes her a very interesting character. I reckon they should've said something else. Let's see if I can recall all the lines she gets in the movie...

"Nuka, did you leave him on his own again? Mother's going to be mad she told you to watch him!"
"Oh yeah, why don't you tell that to her?"
"Here's your chance."
"Hey Kovu, wanna fight?"
"Testify!"
"Kovu what a guy!"

That's all she gets as a cub. And as an adult...

"Oh come on! Kiara has started her hunt! We have to move quickly."
"Get him Kovu, get him! Come on Kovu, what're you waiting for, get him"
"Affirmative. I saw it with my own eyes."
"Where's your pretty daughter Nala?"
"No mother. Kiara's right. Enough."

That's it. I think. And of them as cubs in general, that's probably less than a quarter of the movie.

If they had good voice actors (Kovu was...alright, but Vitani...) people would've complained a bit more about it.

yeh, would be great if they told the back story a littl emore.

I totally think they should have had more time. I just watched it about 5 minutes ago and they have like no time in the whole movie. Its basically "Hi I'm Kovu! Hi I'm Kiara! Oh my gosh goodbye!"
