Would you name your dog..

Depends on what sort of dog it is. I wouldn't call a poodle Balto, but I would call a husky Nikki.

I'd probably name my dog Balto,or Jenna.

Some names are alright, such as Star, Dusty, Kodi, Nikki etc. Though I'd feel weird naming a dog Balto. I suppose Jenna and Steele wouldn't be bad names.

Probably not. It'd feel sort of awkward somehow, and besides, I like other names XD I mean, the names from Balto are alright, but I like different sorts of names. Yeah. If that made any sense XD.

But I'm sure I wouldn't mind calling a dog Jenna or something common like that.

Already have. My Husky's name is Kodiak. I may have just been slightly influenced by the movie.

My German Shepherd is called Balto but I named her after the real one, not the cartoon...it's surprising that I don't say "Balto" much, I normally call her "Balt", "Balty" or "Baby girl" XD And people seem to like it, it gives me an excuse to quote Seppy's site everytime too! XD

If i someday got a white Cat, i would name it Istas. It means "snow" in Native American. lol. I named my dogs DeeoGee ( D-O-G) , Fuji, Nikko, Dubbie, and Pippi.

I guess I'd name a dog Nikki or Steele, but thats only if I ran out of names. I'd name a Malamute, Husky, Samoyed a Native American name like "Wahya" or something like that. :wink:
