Okie dokies, so I need to rip a DVD using Magic DVD Ripper. I put the disc in, and set everything up, start ripping. A few seconds in, however, I get read errors.
This isn't something to do with the DVD - I've tried different DVDs and the same thing happens, so I'm not sure what the problem is. The drive seems to read CDs fine, just not DVDs. It is a DVD drive, so there shouldn't be any problems there... any help?

It shouldn't be that old, the whole computer's a laptop from around '03 and that's when this certain DVD was released, although second-hand, so maybe that's the problem.
