I'm quite interested to see how "Balto of the Wolves" turns out.
I have a few thoughts.
First off, it seemed that Fenere reacted quite well to a wolf being in town. Not that some dogs can't be accepting or helpful toward wolves; that just caught me off guard.
I'm just curious how Aniu avoided the humans for so long, and why all the other dogs kept her presence a secret. Did they respect her, or Fenere?
Lastly, could you clarify if the pups were Fenere's? The way you put it, it seemed to me that they might have been someone else's pups, from before Aniu's banishment. If they are Fenere's pups, you might consider working in a little description of his growing relationship with Aniu (I'll assume they didn't just couple up after one night).
