Hi everyone!

My name is Ásrún.
I'm a 19 year old from Iceland... female if anyone is wondering

I stumbled on this site whilst recklessly browsing the net and well after browsing through it a while I thought it would be a great place to be so I thought I might just go ahead and introduce myself.
I love photography, drawing, go horseback riding, traveling, reading, wolves and all of the canine variety but that kinda goes without saying, right? :P

Well.. best be off and browse this site a bit more ;)

Great for you to stop by at Balto and Lion King source, always a pleasure to see new members. Lovely name you have and a very warm welcome from me ShadowWolfAJ, though i am use to the name of AJ by now Lol.

Drawing and horseback riding are the best that i can compare with your interests, Horseback riding being my top, along with all events in that air, including a pony club member xD also wolves and all of the canine too other wise i would not be here. Heh, Its good to see you and i hope you have a lovely stay with us all here one the site.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome :D

@ AJ - Horseback riding is the best!
I own two Icelandic horses, a 9 year old mare named Kengála a.k.a Ála (Kengála is an ancient icelandic word for her coloring which is yellow dunn) and a one year old filly named Veröld (her name means universe)''

This is Ála, the red horse behind her belongs to my sister

And this is my little one

Such lovely ponies, and a wounderful breed too, i bet you love them to death hehe. I will get some recent picture for you of mine. I have 5 but now down to 4, only 2 i own myself the other 2 are on share with one of me best friends. But that 2 i own are a bay exmoor named Krizma and a Chestnut Quarter Horse named Disa. I only names Krizma as i had him as a colt.

The 2 that i have on share is a gray Arab names Dazzle and a Dapple gray TB by the name Rem(which hates me xD)
Its great to see someone here that has close interest to me, just wounderful ^^ i will sure get some recent picture to show you.

thanks, I do love them to bits! can hardly imagine life without them

Can't wait to see photos of your gang :D how old are they? I also bet that they are huge... we only have icelandic horses in Iceland and I've only once ridden an other breed, that was in Denmark and the trott was so bumpy I swear to god I thought I was going to fall off! it was fun though

But to be Icelandics are the best, so sweet natured, lovable, with their not so bumpy trott and of course the wonderful gate that is tölt ;)
oh and btw.. that red horse behind Ála that belongs to my sister... it hates me

Well the youngest one we have is Dazzle, she is 10 years of age standing about 14.9hh, Rem is the next at 13 years of age standing 16.7hh(darn big horse lol) Disa will be next at age 16 years standing at about 15.2hh and Krizma is about 14.2hh. All of them has a steady stride to there torts and canters other than Rem who tries to find as many ways to through you off
I will always put my dressage and show jumping horse Disa at the top of my list, she is so lovable and a attention seeker, will do anything to get it but i love her ^^

That's awesome, another photographer on Balto Source!

I'm a moderator here on the site (fan arts, images, and fan news). I'm not sure if you know this or not, but there's more to this than the forums. There's a "site" for TLK (The Lion King) and for Balto as well.

Personally, I spend the lot of my time on the BS (Balto source) "side," because it's more active there and I'm a bigger fan of wolves than lions (though I do like them).

Even though photography isn't allowed here, I'd love to see some of your pictures (you can send them to me in a Private Message [PM] if you'd like). =D

Well, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I'm usually in the "Shout box" when I'm online.

Regards,
Kirada
