What is your dream car/first car you want to buy? My dream car and probably 1st car is going to be a DeLorean DMC12. They are amazing. Beatiful, ingenius, and cool. The one i want will have the stock PRV 2.8L V6, that makes 136HP. It has great sound. The DeLorean is IMO one of the best cars ever made. Check out these videos of it

The Bugatti Veyron! Did anyone else see it on top gear...I'd love to have this car
Quote:
$1,700,000 :: The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is the most powerful, most expensive, and fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407 km/h or 253 mph). It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and is sold under the legendary Bugatti marque. It is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm. The Veyron features a W16 engine.

I pretty much own it. It's a car that has impeccable handling, gets decent fuel mileage, isn't burdened down by electronic nannies, has a smooth, very well controlled engine, which purrs like an angry cat. It's affordable, has great luxury, and is rather practical. And here it is, powered by one of the best engines ever made* (the VQ30DE), the Nissan Cefiro A32!

As you've probably figured out, that is my car ^^

*according to Ward's Auto. The VQ series of engine has been on their top ten list since their 10 best engines contest inception in 1995. Pretty good track record I'd say.

Nice pics, Alpine :)

I like DeLoreans as well, but being a child of the eighties/early nineties, what else can I say? I've loved those machines for long long time. It's my top-running favorite car since 1987.

Of course, I'd prolly go for something a bit more sensible - not unlike Alpine's car, which is really superb when you take into account my standards. Probably a Subaru Impreza... I like the Mazda Miata and the Toyota Solaris too... If I could go all out for some really spendy car too, likely a Diablo, or a Vector Twin Turbo, or some Jag or Porsche, maybe a Rolls XD. But they'd likely remain in the garage D:

But the one vehicle I'd avoid like the plague would be the Hummer line. eeish.

Your comment sort of slightly made me chuckle. I'll spare you the technical details, but, the DMC12 is an impractical car, it's performance numbers aren't at all stunning, and it sounds a lot like my buddy's Ranger 2.9L V6. I'm not saying you shouldn't get one, I'm just stating why I wouldn't get one.

I would like a 1931 Bugatti Royale Kellner Coupe. There were only 6 ever made and each sold for $45,000 in 1931! (about 700,000) today. I see one of these as an investment, though the last one to be sold was in 1987 it sold for $8,700,000 or about $15,419,724.08 in (2006) Plus the old car appreciation really kicked off in the 1990's so it's worth more. I'd peg it at or more then the price of a Ferrari 250 GTO (Around $20,000,000)

Plus I could sell it and get all the other cars I love like a McLaren F1, Mercedes CLK-GTR, Porsche GT1, and Lamborghini Muria.
