Like mayahuskee, I am holding my own trip.
However, mine is a little bit different. I am taking some members
camping, and I will take no more than
30 kids. This way, I will have a "stable" group as opposed to hundreds of kids showing up.
First, to test my compatibility with BS Members "in real life," I am haivng a
Private camping trip that is by invitation only. So far, I am pursuading
steelfangs's parents and
Hyper Tasha's to let them go. They're two people on the site I wouldn't mind having some fun with. There are probably a couple others I will invite, but I don't know yet.
=======================================
As for the trip. There are simple, easy-to-follow rules:
Rule Number One: Do not swear on the trip. The age limit, at youngest, is 12 years old (with a chaperone) and the parent(s)/guardian(s) will not be happy with their child/children "picking up new words." Let alone, it could ruin any possibility of having another trip in the future!
Rule Number Two: Don't bring anything illegal. That goes for the adults. Any illegal substinance, including tobacco and alcohol (even though they are not illegal) will be reported to local authorities. That kind of stuff has no right being around children of any age. I, myself, will not tolerate it. This will also lead to your termination of the trip and you will be sent away.
Rule Number Three: Do not break any city, county, or state law(s) while on the trip. You have to be savvy with all of the laws (or at least a parent) to avoid local authority interaction.
Rule Number Four: Do not litter! I plan on having similar trips in the future, and might want to return to the same site as the first! Be sure to follow the rules of the area.
Rule Number Five: Everyone (excluding parents and chaperones) on the trip must show a valid permission form written by Kirada and signed by a parent/guardian. This allows for information about Emergency contacts (if something were to happen), allergies, and just regular information (no social security numbers will be asked for!).
These rules are still well on their way; so keep in mind that they are subject to change! I will more than likely add more, as well.================
And a dress code.
1.) I will send out, along with the site information packet, a one-week weather forecast from several different news crews (for comparison). Dress accordingly to the weather.
2.) We will be in a woodded area. Please wear pants; no shorts - to avoid ticks. Also, bring some "Flea and tick shampoo" (yes this works on humans, I've dealt with it personally) in case of the worst.
3.) Teeshirts are allowed; as well as tanktops. However, no revealing clothing. No short shorts/shirts, no halter tops, etc.
4.) Do not wear suggestive clothing. This includes cloths that "down" a race, gender, religion, or nationality. Anyone with this kind of clothing will be asked to change; the second time they will be removed.
5.) Bring a tent with what you find the "proper supplies." Some snacks, a backpack, a pillow/sleeping bag.
These, too, are suggestive to change. Keep your eyes on these. Parents, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Have any questions? Feel free to ask here or e-mail me. I will update this forum topic as the trip progresses.
E-mail:
[email protected]REQUIRED TOPIC LINE: Lets Go Camping! (Otherwise, I am likely to ignore the e-mail and delete it).
=================================================
Interested in going? Same e-mail address. When JerseyCaptain and I work up a permission form, I will reply with that attached. You must have your parent(s)/guardian(s) fill it out, and have your parent(s)/guardian(s) sign it.
With that form, I will be able to know an Emergency Contact (should anything happen, I pray it doesn't), your allergies (if any), what foods you should avoid, what activities you should avoid, and so on. It's an "Information Pack on My Child," basically. Somewhat like a school permission form.
==============================
How long will the trip be?Depending on the cost; one week tops. I will have the number(s) of the chaperones and myself available for the parents to use.
Will I be charged? A small fee. This will cover the "rent" for the camp-site(s). The rest of the sum will be covered by (1.) donation and/or (2.) previously raised money for the trip (and the trip only!).
What kind of activities will there be?Well, we need to decide the location, first. ;]

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.
I have also made a forum for the people interested in going on the trip.
