Yes, yes..it sounds..weird..
When you look at a person with a HUGE nose, do you not think " Parrot? "
Really.. call me insane.but people have features that are very animal like..
Small people with round faces look like mice to me.
What do YOU look like?

And yes people do sometimes look like animals. I have a book about dogs who look like their owners ...o_O

Well, we are animals, so that's why we look like them. I see so many people who hate monkeys and apes, and I wonder if it is their human-like qualities that are slightly disturbing to some people.

I believe the same thing. How do people even know that we come from them?

Evolution. If you look at the size and shape of some skulls of today's modern monkies/apes, you'll see many similarities to our skulls, such as the eye sockets, jawbone, brain cavity, etc. Also, if you look at our DNA, you'll find that there's only one difference. This means that apes and humans more than likely shared a common ancestor.
Also, if you look at some skulls from different points in time, you'll see a sort of transition from ape to human. Some skulls even look to be half human and half ape.
