Okay; I know this is probably a some what useless rant, and I will not be surprised if Iget bashed for it, but here I go.

Okay; well alot of things I've noticed is that people either talk like this; omgthatssoawesomedoodlolz!!11 Or like; wut r u up 2? Before I go on; I know chatspeak/netspeak is just a way to simplify words, but do they have to use it every five seconds on EVERY word? I do not mind if someone goes; yeah lol i don't like that 2. If it's not used on every word, that does not annoy me. But in things that it's every word that'll either become a letter, a number, or just chopped up into different pieces to shorten the word, example; little can become litl, littl litle and so on. It just.. disgusts me.

Also, if you shorten every word down to a symbol, letter, number, whatever you wanna use; it doesn't make you seem intelligent. Atleast, this is just how I view it. If you can spell a large word like, consequences or something like that, why can't you spell the word "are" or "you" and so on? I mean really; if you have the ability to spell large words, why can't you spare the netspeak and type out atleast more than four small words they way they are spelled.

Another thing that getson my nerves is whenever people use the caps far too much mixed with the netspeak. If it's not one thing, thenit's another. Comments such as "AHH NO WAI U R 2 STOOPID 2 B MY FRIEND DOOD" or "RKAHDJKAHSDJKA GO AWAI PLZ" Even moderators have to ask them to stop, and I have noticed that the people still continue to do it about an hour or so after the moderators leave. Since I do try my best to avoid running into such childish acts.

Yet, the main thing that really ticks me off is whenever people just up and bash people who try to actually save them from getting into trouble. Example:
Person 1: LOLZ I M AWESOME AND U R NOT!!!!1111
Person 2: Uhm.. i don't think you should be doing that.
Person 1: DON'T TEL ME WUT I CAN AN CANT DO!!11

Though this hasn't occured on baltosource from what I have seen; I have seen it in many other places, and am sure it has happend here atleast once or twice. And no, I am not bashing anyone at all who uses netspeak, it's just a rant and is not pointed to any certain person. And heading onto the last portion of my rant, why would someone lock a rant whenever it is in the right area? I mean I understand if someone has personal reasons and what-not, but honestly, it's a rant topic. That means these people have the rights to express what's bugging them, or whatever they have on their minds.

You can all bash me, scream at me, flood me with spam, or do whatever you want. I'm just saying what I think..

Bash, scream and flood with spam... that's... quite strange to me.

The only chatspeak I use is "i c". But that too isn't allowed XD.

Yea... excessive chatspeak is definitely annoying, tho.

I realize that you all have legitimate gripes about this. And really, I agree WITH those gripes. All the hundreds of them placed on this board so far. But do any of you realize YET that the people who do the very things you complain about are either not reading this stuff, and/or don't CARE one BIT, or would respond with more stupidity and aggression if you told them to stop (because most of them are pre-teens or young teens)? They don't get it, and never will.

Complaining about it is all well and good, but it won't change a thing. Only unrelenting, merciless enforcement of the rules in those regards will. Without exception, and in every single instance.

Yeah; i realize that. It's rather pathetic how much of a fight most of them will put up even if things are worded nicely. And, no, they're not going to look at it because the don't care, it's kinda obvious. But thanks for the opinion, atleast a few people have agreed with me so far.

This message, deleted, for obvious reasons.

Capslock....

HOW R U? I AM A BIG FAN OF BS!

Now I am confused. Does BS mean Balto Source... Or Bull *insert badword here!*?

Maybe we should take this as an example of why we should use FULL WORDS. You have a big enough space. Use it.
