Does this ever happen to you?

Do you ever know of songs that you REALLY like, but you don't even know the name of it or who sings it? For me, it mostly happens on the radio, when I hear good songs, and they don't say who sang it, or what it was called.

Two of those said songs I just found out what they were, and they were:

"Wings of a Butterfly" by H.I.M (Thank you SOOO much UK! ^^)
"Island (Float Away)" by The Starting Line

All the time. XD That was how I got on my search for the song One Week by Barenaked Ladies and Fantasy by Maraiah Carey. And yes, most of the ones I don't catch are ones played over the radio. I those cases, you must've caught SOME part of the lyrics. Just type the words you heard into google, then add "lyrics" at the end. Eight times of of ten, you'll find the song you're looking for. ^^

It happens a lot to me. There were so many songs that I loved when I was younger, but I can't remember what they were called, or even who sang them. It gets very frustrating! During the summer, I heard one of the songs that I used to love on satellite radio, so I looked at the display and found out who sang it! It does not happen very often, but once in a while I get lucky.

Soooo many times.

Clocks - Coldplay
Talk - Coldplay

I thought Talk was by Evermore... it sounded similar... Clocks did sound like Coldplay, though.

There's a song like that I hear around Christmas time on the radio. It's sort of like the Twelve Days of Christmas, but... well, I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say since it's sorta religious.

Some radio stations say who the song is by after the song that follows it.

Ah. hate that...and how it usually gets stuck in your head and you find yourself singing it and people are like 'cool song. what is it?' and you feel stupid replying that you don't know. XD

Oh, and it also happened with Limp Bizkit's Behind Blue Eyes. I thought it was Linkin Park, but nuuu XD

I think I can boast one of the most interesting stories regarding this topic.

Awhile back, I heard a song I really liked in a cafe. I remembered part of the lyrics so I could go home and look it up. Thing is, I forgot to look it up that night. The next day when I remembered to go look it up, I forgot the lyrics.

About a month later, I had a dream in which I was writing a number down on a slip of paper. 500.

The name of the song I was looking for was 500 Miles by The Proclaimers.

haha, that would be for someone with sense...which I am not. :lol:

I still have songs in my head from years ago that I hear and I'm like 'I KNOW THIS!!!' and then they finally say the name. Has happened twice over the past week (not even kidding):
