I think it could. I mean, if there where two familys with one son and daughter in each of them, and the families maybe had some neighboor fights, and the kids where forced to stay away from them. Maybe then it started forbidden love. Like in TLK 2.

It's not impossible. Forbidden love was quite a common thing hundreds of years ago, when girls had their husbands chosen for them.

I think it's a good story just like the first two films. It's fun to watch, and Kiara and Kovu are cute together. I like all of the songs, the only thing is it would have been good if it explained what Zira and the other lionesses were doing since they're never mentioned until the third (Simba's Pride) film. The unique thing about this film is that it shows a darker side of Simba (sharp in contrast to the light-hearted fun-loving Simba that was raised by Timon and Pumbaa). The DVD companion book talks about showing the flipped side of Pride Rock, which is a visual image of the battle within. It also focuses on forgiveness at the end. Even though the first two films are lighter, and give Timon and Pumbaa more screen time, it's fun to have a darker, more complex tale for the end of the trilogy.

Well, I do believe it may happen. But unfortunately, in our day's society, it's very rare...
