I know how your feeling. But regardless of the rules put up, and the precautions told to the members, there will always be people who don't fallow the rules because they are ignorant to them (meaning they didn't bother reading the rules) or they just don't care. -shrugs- Hopefully the mods catch those people. Try not to let them run your life though. Just ignore the 'pretty' people with the stolen images from google. Life must really suck that they have to come online to fulfill childish fantasies.

OMG that is soooooooooooooooooooooo annoying!!!! People here are so imature sometimes!!! They use SMS, they swear, they treat this site like MySpace!!! Your right Tani!!!! This is a Balto and TLK site, not another MySpace site!!!!!!!!! People like that here have got to GROW UP!!!

Ah...so there IS such a thing as too much freedom. XD I suppose people just like to broadcast themselves, and even though there are tons of other sites where you can do that, this place is where they consider it to be best. Because...let's get real here. The target age for this group is for (as I'm sure you've all heard ump-teenth times already) "little kids" and children. Try not to think about it too hard, people. You go to MySpace, and it's probable the only comments you'll ever get will be from a fat guy sitting at his computer without a shirt and a beer in one hand.

Naturally, people would want to be with others in their same age group...or groups. XD It's understandable that they would want to show themselves off a bit. But I must concur that there's a fine line...no, wait. Scratch that...an OBVIOUS line where people really just had enough of you. Lol. There are other people in the world, right?

Take for example, those trendy "Ask me Anything" threads. Yeeeeah. It was fun the first couple of times, with our fictional characters (Props to Dragon Tamer who thought of the idea in the first place). Then, eventually, others began doing it too...with their less popular (sad truth) characters, then ultimately...themselves. Man, you cannot even begin to fathom how ticked I'm getting at those threads. It's another sad attempt at trying to draw attention to yourself. Don't you think that if someone has a question about you, they'd ask you in...I dunno...a PM? An e-mail? an IM? People today really know how to take a good idea then just...murder it. Lol.

I get pretty ticked off about that too! I mean...no one cares about who you are dating and all that crap! Maybe they do on Myspace or something but not on Balto Source or The Lion King Source! :evil:

*sigh* Sad fact is, its not only this site having this problem. Take Howrse.com for example, Seriously thinking of quitting. Its bull crap. Everyday, something innapropriate. (Sorry... I can't spell...) Last night. People were saying their horse pooped on them. Now, not to the point where its like sex, but that sadly happens to. People think they can just get in trouble, and have fun with it. *sigh* the internet world... Its becoming a horrible place.

I agree. People use too much SMS, and rarely follow the rules. Tani, we all say " meh, and hai " and so on, but that isn't that bad. It's not horrible, SMS, that is horrible. The newbies don't know what this site is, and since you can have a profile, they must think you may post stuff about you. To me, a profile is a few lines to introduce yourself, friends, chars, and maybe 1-3 pictures.
The name copying thing:
Yes.. I hate that, and we all know I hate that. We ALL know. lol, But no matter what you do, either somebody will take your name, frame you ( both me) or copy your every move. -.-

It's amazing how foolish some people are. But they don't know it's in the rules. I corrected a few and they stopped using SMS because they didn't know. But there's always someone who won't give a crap about what your saying. He'll say "so wat." or "wat do u know about it." or "stay out of this b4 I get mad" I hate being insualted by people who can't even type properly! And then there are the people who haves pics of thier mates in profiles saying "This is my and ?" like we care! It's just a waste of space :roll:

. And then there are smily spams and character bashing and more stupid junk. I mean c'mon! Who cares about mates and stuff. And then someone wrote. "PLEAZZZZ PM ME I LUV TO WRITE STORIES AND IF U COMMENT ON MY STORIES U'LL BE MY BEST FRIEND 4EVER!!!!!!!!!

I don't remember a lot of what he said in his super short and stupid profile, but it was real stupid alright. and then people say "Dew u like Balto?" :roll:
