I can see why that would get annoying.

I said this before, but it's usually the RP thread starter's responsibility to maintain order within the RP, even private ones. It's good that you're trying to keep everyone in order, the the truth is, if people really have lost their interest, there's nothing you can do but give it up. It's dead. Move on. Also, you might also want to know more about the people you RP with. Are they active members on the site or do they only come on once in a blue moon? Do they type full posts, or maybe one or two sentences? Are their posts clear and easy to read?

Getting to know the people you RP with or are GOING TO RP with can help you greatly to decide whether or not that person's capable of maintaining an RP as well as whether or not you should RP with them in the first place.

I sometimes RP in the RP box, but I hardly ever do it in the forums. Those always seem to die as soon as I join. Am I doing something wrong?
