Hey there, all! It's been a while since I wrote my first (and last) TLK fic based on Kopa, the 'lost' son of Simba, but now I've begun a new era in the TLK family!

"If Given the Chance . . ." is a tale of the happenings after TLK2, after the two prides become one once Kiara and Kovu stand up for their love. What does the great Mufasa see in the future of his glorious pride now that unseen dangers await them . . . and the arrival of someone new makes things difficult for the young lion couple destined to see the throne next . . .

Sounds interesting, but what Mufasa are you talking about? Wasn't he dead? Or is this a new lion with the same name or something?

Yeah, Mufasa's still dead here, just like he was in SP. I hope you liked it so far! Characters always seem to change when they become parents, eh? It's interesting to make the playful Kiara and the serious Kovu proud parents while still keeping them true to TLK2 at the same time.
