Cuz people think this is MySpace. Only it's MyBaltoSpace. It's laaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. But I agree.

See? Yours is long too! We all just put stuff in our profiles for fun! Infact, some pictures tell about what we like! Keep that in mind too.

Whats so bad about putting random pictures in your profile? We should be able to do whatever we want with our profiles, well most of the stuff. And a few pictures wouldn't hurt.

1. Those random pictures aren't yours, therefore, theft
2. People with slow connections (aka me sometimes) have great difficulty viewing your profile because of the crapload of pictures there. Consideration, plx.

1. Yes, as long as their your own or used with permission. Otherwise, theft. Been said already.
2. Please, consideration for people with slow connections! For them it takes ages to open long profiles with excessive pictures!
3. ...whose profile are you talking about? As long as there isn't a massive amount of pictures make it as long as you want

I think it's about time we had a limit for pictures. Really, people with slow connections (such as me sometimes) have trouble opening these overly long profiles because of all the pictures that are usually badly compressed and large in file size altogether when they just need the links at the bottom.

Either that or the links get moved to the top of the page. (In case you don't know what links I mean, I mean the ones to the user's galleries and such.)

This system has been annoying me, too. Since it's creation.
I find pretty dumb posting pictures which aren't yours, and describe them as "look this is me ; me as adult ; me as president ; me as buttler" etc. Sorry Balto Source Roleplayers, but this fad is silly and needs to stop.
For us mods, is hard to go and see what's on your profile, especially when we need to access one of your fan galleries. Of course we can modify and stuff, but they keep re-appearing. And what's more frustrating, is that they use other's drawings and modify a tiny bit then say "I MADE IT!"

I also agree with what Cat said. Boy you don't need college to figure what's going on.

As debate, I'd say if steet is able to make this "picture profile" limited to 1-2-3 pictures. You don't need more lol. And it makes our lives easier. So yours.

1. No, you cannot post anything you want. Excessive violence, sex, and militant religious views are not allowed.
2. Posting pictures that aren't yours on your profile isn't art theft unless you falsely claim that you made them.
3. This is not MySpace. Consequently, don't put in backgrounds that were originally intended to be used as backgrounds for MySpace profiles.

As to length, well, I find it a waste of this site's server space, personally. I do find extremely long profiles to be annoying, but I don't know if there should be a rule against them or not.

Well if you tell where you got the pictures from in your profile, its fine. But what I meant by the random pictures, is really using your own pictures. And if you have a hard time reading the profile, why look at it so many times? Just leave it alone if you don't like. ~_~

As for using your own pictures that you created and made, that should be fine, yes.

Why look at it Because I find it easier to go through someone's profile to use the galleries link rather than search the user name (I often forget the more complicated ones), but it's in fact slower because of all these images thrown in there. Is that so much of a deal to you?

Yes, one's freedom stops when the freedom of others is hurt. I also dislike these overloaded profiles, not so much for the connection speed because I have a rather quick connection but because this makes my computer very slow (yes, even with Firefox)
I have always thought of putting a limit to how many images or text you can add, I'll see how I can do this technically. Or, maybe a better solution : I will display only a part of the profile, and add a button to display it entirely, so that you get the choice to see it fully or not.
