At least they bring a topic to talk about... I'm more annoyed by people who go there, say only "hello!" and then complain about being ignored...

Well, maybe you should try to listen to what they're saying. Of course, they might be saying it over and over, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're asking for attention...I'm sure if someone in my family was pregnant, and I was happy about it, I'd shout it to the world too (Alas, however, I have no sisters.). I know that was just an example, but eh...try looking at it from their perspective.

It often has a tendacy to get the best of all of us.

Dragon Tamer wrote: I think they tend to do that because of the new person coming in. Still you are right. It's understandable for people to be excited about something like that, but if they just post it over and over again, especially when nobody new shows up, it can get a little irritating. Oh, no doubt. Of course, there's no rule that says you can't go searching for attention -- it's just looked down upon. There's a point where you say it so often, it's considered spam. In any case, if you're not interested with that person, it's best just to ignore.

They should learn how not to be annoying! Gosh, even if they do get the attention they want..they still say those things over and over and over again..until they must leave..or they get banned..

Gosh, even if they do get the attention they want..they still say those things over and over and over again..until they must leave..or they get banned.. Sorry to say but that's just a little bit....rude. Sure, it can be annoying to a point, but maybe they're just really happy and are looking to talk about it with someone. There are much worse things that happen. Besides, at least they are bringing up something to talk about. There are easy solutions. If you want someone to stop repeating it, why not ask them a question about it? Like in the example in the first post, you could ask them what they might want to name the babies or something. They're just looking to talk. But if you aren't really interested, just ask them a question about something different and get a new topic going. It's really not that hard. And if those things don't work, just talk to someone else and ignore them. And yeah, sometimes there are people who do take it too far, but maybe you could just have some patience with them. The problem is, i DO have patience for those people. And i DO try to talk about new topics..and yet..they don't listen or pay attention. I'm not trying to be rude or anything..it's just that yes, they are annoying. I think most people agree with me here.
