Alrighty. Alot of you know about my character John Tom (also known as J.T.) the son of Summer (Beauty_Jenna's character) and Stunner (my character), and is the GREAT-GRANDCHILD of Balto. Well, even tho "Her Jealousy" isn't going to be posted for a while, I decided to throw a little contest for JT.

Name: John Tom
Age: Over 2 years.
Gender: Male
Breed: Mostly husky, but is also 1/16 wolf, 1/8 malamute, and 1/8 border collie.
Likes: Girls, himself, his family
Dislikes: Being useless, being told what to do
Personality: Proud, self-confident. Is well-aware of his good traits, but unaware of his bad traits.
History: Raised by parents who were very popular in their days and takes great pride in that. Perhaps a little too much pride. His parents always tell him that its not good that he flaunts himself and shows himself off the way he does (very much like Steele, now that I think about it) but he often has to learn the hard way. He's best friends with his brother Dino who has his own girl problems, but totally different problems. JT's often teased as being a house pet (whereas most dogs nowadays have jobs) but he's not very worried about it.

What the fic will be about:

JT's fic will be about how leading people on will cause him trouble. All sorts of trouble When he's older, he wants to find love, but now he can't decide. What will he do? Who will he choose? *dramatic* Will he propose? And if so, will she say "yes"? LOL!! Anyway.


About the winners:

There will be a total of 5 winners. Each winner will be featured in JT's fic (when its written, which will be sometime after "Her Jealousy" is posted) as one of his lady friends. The one I like best will be JT's mate, and that winner will only be known through the fic (so in order to find out, you must read the fic. Ha, there IS a catch.) There's no due date. The contest will go on until further notice.


What I'm looking for:

-A female DOG.
-No wolves or any other wild dog.
-A character that's already been created. I don't want any you just made up on the spot in hopes of maybe winning.
-NO FURSONAS (thats creepy)
-CREATIVITY!!!!


Notes:

-The character CAN be a mixed breed or a pure breed. Preferably a purebred.
-Character cannot be older than J.T. Around this time, he'll be almost three years old, so the character can be his age or less than his age.
-Character cannot be any of Steele's offspring.
-Character cannot be any of Balto's offspring.
-Character cannot be any of Nikki, Kaltag, or Star's offspring.
-Character basically cannot be descended from any main Balto character. Secondary characters (like Silvie or Ralph) are okay.
-Character's personality from this point onward (January 31st) cannot consist of "tomboy," "difficult to get close to," "crazy," etc. I'm getting sick of all of these characters who all act the same. I was excited to come back and expected some creativity, but alas.

Oooh, sounds dead interestin XD

Name: Vanessa
Age: 2-3
Gender: Fae
Personality: A bit of a stuck-up bitch, and is always carrying herself with dignity and pride. She is also labeled a flirt too, and the guys like that XD But she is mostly interested in John Tom for she loves a challenge. She isn't always stuck up though, and has a very sensitive side to her. She is very protective of her younger sister Carly, for she was always the weaker of the 2. Vanessa isn't one to look for popularity, but she has a fair number of friends, and deeply cares for all of them, and won't hesitate to protect them if someone dares hurt them. She has always been a tough girl, and isn't one to take such things lightly
History: Was born in Nome, and has been a resident all her life. There were originally 3 pups in the litter, but one died very soon after being born for he caught a heart disease, which is why Vanessa is so protective over her younger sister. Her father, Rocco later died of a heart disease when the sisters were only pups, and obviously both are very sensitive on the subject now
Origin of the character: One I made up for the hell of it when I started drawing again, so she wasn't very developed XD So I made her more developed. Not sure she's related to any Balto characters, and I doubt she is for now.

Name: Lost Legacy( Known just as "Legacy" to most.)
Age: 3 Years
Gender: Female
Personality: She usually covers up her emotions by acting stuck up but sometimes she lets her emotions get the best of her. She hates hiding her emotions but doesn't want to be made fun of again. Only a few people have seen her emotions get the best of her. She snaps at people when they talk about that "odd" little pup who looked like a smaller version of herself that always Cried.
History:
As a pup she was often made fun of because she couldn't control her emotions. She often whined, and whimpered, and debated about silly things with others. After a year she just couldn't take it anymore and started to act stuck up and snobby. This caused people to stop messing with her and calling her names but it made them like her less. She never let her emotions get the best of her in front of others and she felt guilty of that. She's snapped at a few people for talking about a odd pup that looked like her who always whined and cried.
Origin of the character:
Let's see... I had a odd little spark of idea in my mind like always and started doodling XD I originally made her for my "Sakura" Series but she didn't work out too well. So I made her design out of boredom. :] But really why I made her personalty is because NONE of my character's have soft sides. All of them are vicious killers( Mainly Blood and Adara.) who are stuck in an eternal battle with each other(It sucks when you're Immortal.). Now that's why I wanted a normal character who could easily die if I wanted her to.

Mwhaha >D I've been hoping that you'd make one of these. I think J.T is one great character, and I think that I know just the female to enter xD Right, well this lil'laddie I've had for a while now. I've been working on a picture for her for a while. Right, It will be up soon, but you can definatly guarentee that Fire's entering XD

EDIT: Ok, I'm FINALLY done with a picture, so here's my entry.

Name: Eclair,
Breed: Lurcher (Grey hound x Bernese Mountain Dog)
Age: Around 2 1/2
Gender: Female
Likes: Sport, contest, boys, being popular, winning, contests, prizes, attention.
Dislikes: Losing, being lead.
Personality: She is very confident, and over going. She can be stuck up and is proud and thinks alot of herself. She is flirty, and loves to watch males fall for her. She likes to win contests, and basicly too seem perfect in every way. She is a mixed breed of a greyhound and a BMD, however this dosn't seem to affect her in any bad way. Her greyhound side gives her a need to enter and win.
History: She origanly came from another part of the U.S, but after being sold to a breeder was bought over to Nome. As a resuly, she never knew her parents and family. After living with this man for a week or two, she was put up for adoption and was brought by Samantha, a yound girl who had a large intrest in animals. If you've ever heard the phrase, "The dog looks like the owner" (Or however it goes since I forgot it) in this case is true. Sam, like her, has short black hair, green eyes, and also, is proud of her dog and trains and enters her in contests often. Eclair think of herself as "The queen of the contests" She is at the present the 6 time winner of the agillity trial, and intends to keep her winning streak.

Origin of the character: Well, her name "Eclair" had a little somthing do do with "Sweet like choclate" but had more to do with the fact that I like chocolate eclairs XD Anyway, the reason I made her was because I was a friend of mine has a lurcher, so I decided I might try one. Her markings are based on the bernese mountain dog, except from the shape of a greyhoud (Only a little larger) Plus, I needed an artic beauty in meh Fan fics xD I was going to hold a mate contest for her but decided to enter her in a contest. So here she is Thanks.

Name: Iggy
Age: 2
Gender: feamale
Personality: VERY independant, hates fighting but she is rather good at it, seems to get along with guys better than girls, has some wierd moodswings every now and then, she can go from all hard core and cranky, to hyperactive puppyish type, but inside she is really very sweet and loving, before she was very shy and self conscience, she didn't know what to think of herself, much less what others thought, a drastice change in attitude and pride occured after she escaped from her owner (check history), she will also deny if you say anything about her ever being shy or timid, she also get's mad when you talk about her past
History: Was born on the streets, she lived on the streets for about 10 months when she was taken away from her family by a strange guy, he locked her in a dog crate, in the corner of a small room and phisically and mentally tourtured her, he rarely fed her and beat her for no reason, she had muddy water in a tiny dish and that was all, she was only taken out for dog fights, she was taught to kill and she usually always won, until the day that she lost, she was abused so much she was almost killed, the mans neighbors overheard Iggy's howling and crying and called the police, Iggy was taken to a dog pound but quickly escaped, although her wounds are healed she still has some scars both phisical and mental, she will always fear and hate humans. Hence forth, she has roamed the streets of Nome for a little more than half a year now, being nothing but a bother, she got to know some small children, for they don't make her feel as nervous as grown humans do
Origin of the character: I made Iggy for a previous contest but I didn't place, I just kept her as a character, I thought up her design from a dream I once had

Name: Antara
Age: 3 years old
Gender: femme female!XD
Personality: At first I wanted her to be a sweet lil angel cliche, but after time I realized I was on drugs or something and changed her W00T!)Antara is mostly like a mix of personas she may be like Kita in the fact that she fights for what she wants an works hard for it, an she hates to lose things she works hard for, she's very self-confident and with her female friends but she's wary and very shy around boys since her parents (who are Amelieh the husky and Charles the beagle-Harrier) always warned her to be wary with males, she's really creative and comes with strange ideas, BUT AT LAST the best way to describe her is to be very eccentric and she usualy makes JT freaked out XD She is not a freak, she has many friends, but she is really Xcentric so she isn't a freak at all.
History: Antara's parents are old and they first had a litter in which no pup survived yeard later after recovering from their loss they decided to forget the past an have a second litter in which i came four healthy pups one is Antara, however Charles and Amelieh were very oveprotective, and usually told Antara about mean male dogs who like to rape beautiful young ladies, so she lived with that fear of being raped wich made her shy and wary with male dogs, she like JT a lot and tries o win him being herself but she always end freaking him out.
Origin of the character: When I was younger I used to create beagle wolf hybrids, Antara WAS a wolf beagle hybrid but I change that into a husky beagle-harrier mix.

I DECIDED TO POT SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT ANTARA SINCE SHE'S ALREADY A VERY COMPLETE CHAR

Antara and his brother Mountaineer are house pet, while her other brother Jonesy is a sleddog and Soutwinder is a duck hunter dog.

In her family his brothern Jonesy was the first born, then it was Southwinder, after Southwinder then is Mountaineer and at last it's Antara, but being the smallest didn't made Antara the runt, while Mountaineer was very ickly and wea on his pupyhood and he was picked up by Jonesy

Being femine and doesn't make Antara defeatable, she can hold herself in a fight, and can launch quite a punch OUCH!

Antara met JT randomly on the boiler room.

One of Antara's fear is getting raped he same like her sister Southwinder.

NEW. Antara s owners are a smal couple of two knowledgeable people, they usually study a lot and read historical facts etc, since Antara and Mountaineer are house-pets, they usuall hear what their masters are reading loud, both Antara and Mountaineer ae knowledgeable and both are very smart dogs.

Antara and Mountaineer have a very close relationship, the same with Suthwinder but not as close as the the two lil siblings, Jonesy dont like much anything and prefers to be a loner sledog.

Usually Jonesy as a big bro would protect her sisters from males, but in fact he really doesnt care.

Amelieh and Charles love her children, but Jonesy recalls more f their Momas brother, or in fact thei uncle who was a very hostile dog, while Mountaineer recalls his father completely and Antara and Southwinder recall both parents.

Antaras best friend is a creamy and brown pom called Sundance

I've only got a few ladies left that are eligible (about three) but I'll see which one I throw in.

Also, two of them are wolf/husky hybrids, but the husky gene's a lot more dominant, so is that alright?

Breed: Greyhound
Age: 2.5
Gender: Female
Personality: Bitter at times, but cynical in a delightful almost strangely magnetic way. She loves to run and can outrun some huskies. Unfortunately for her, greyhounds aren't built well for winter. She is fiercely protective like her namesake, but vengeful when angered. She enjoys long talks and is sociable albeit cynical. She is steadfast in her opinions and is very hard to sway in decisions. She is firm in her identity even if she is criticized for it.
History: Vanir was one of two greyhound puppies born into the dog racing circuit in Las Vegas. Her sister, Wendigo, was the superior racer. Vanir was left in the dust and was forced to retire due to her sister's whopping success. She was auctioned off and bought by a small-time sled maker. Now she is the tester for new designs since she was a breed born to run. She is still bitter towards her sister, but her only connection to her sister is their son; Crossroads.
Origin of the character: Vanir's name originated from the best TV show ever to exist; Supernatural. Copy and pasted from Super-Wiki;



Vanir was originally a wolf and portrayed as a rogue, ruined crops if the farmers did anything to displease her. She first appeared in a Supernatural fanfiction as a mirror to the Beast of Gevaudan, a legendary creature that was believed to be a wolfdog. Vanir was tamed and changed to a greyhound to fit in with the rest of the cast of my fanfic, The Aurora Prophecies. She appears in chapter 3 of The Aurora Prophecies when she convinces Crossroads to lead her to Wendigo.
