the battle of helms deep was fought in Rohan at the base of the mountains there was 3,200 defenders againist 10,000 attackers it is in the two towers movie

Ah, yes, thats where I heard it.

It's been such a long time sence I've seen that movie, but I still remember that battle. The only thing I don't remember was: who won that battle, but don't tell me... time to dust off my dvd player and watch the movie!

Yea this was a kool part of the movie but it was nowhere near as kool as the battle for middle earth in The Return of the King

It was a good battle not by the tactic view (they didnt stand a real chance even with the fancy cavalary but its in the movies so we always got to win :) ) lol remember when i seen it at the cinema, me and my uncle where talking more about warcraft 2 (Nazgull was very similar to the Dragons in warcraft 2) , and about best way to outflank them so neighbour people looked at us like they wanted to kill us (dont think any of them had any idea what we were talking about) but nothing could stop us and at the end we got out with a smile on our face and the closest couple neighbour with some useless information about a game they never heard about...

Yea, Elves are really skilled with those bows.
I still say the battle for Middle Earth in the Return of the King was way better then Helms deep though

well could anything have been done better to defend helms deep or prepare the battlements better
