Yep, I love them =D

I prefer their older stuff but I still love the American Idiot album. Can't be dealing with these people that call themselves "Fans" but then decide they hate them because they aren't keen on the new album. I know a guy that did that and he's all "I hate them now" on the basis that 1) he's not so keen on American Idiot and 2) he seems to be ashamed that he likes Green Day and everyone else is saying how bad they are. I hate people that are too weak to stick to things just because everyone else has gone the other way.

I personally am one of those people that's not ashamed of any of the music I listen to so I'm like, the only person I know really that likes (or admits to liking) Green Day. My attitude is usually "I really don't care what you think" lol.

I love Green Day!!!

I have their concert dvd and CD for "Bullet in a Bible". I watched it the other day, it's pretty good. I also have some of their other albums such as American Idiot, Nimrod, and Dookie.
Like their music, their style, they're a cool band. Music is good too, love billie joe's voice.
Although Tre Cool kind of scares me, XD.

green day is awesome.
i've kind of got bored of them though since they pretty much died in the music scene ever since like 2005.
i hope they'll come back soon with some new stuff.

They haven't really "died". They "died" before the release of American Idiot, but that's only because they're one of the (seemingly) few bands nowadays that don't release an album every single year.

As for coming back soon, I've heard varying things on this. Some people have said they're releasing an album in 2008 and some people are saying they're recording in 2008, so whether they're gonna get both done in a year, I don't know. Either way, it better be good, I want my big excuse to obsess back, lol!

Personally, I didn't think american Idiot was so bad. But whatever, people think different, thats all I can say.

Neither did I, I bought that before their other stuff, although I had listened to bits of their older stuff. But then I bought International Superhits and was like "Hmm, I prefer this" but I still think American Idiot's a great album. Just not as bouncy and odd/funny as their old stuff, lol. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams is still one of my favourite songs actually.

Yeah, American Idiot was their first album that I bought too. And like you said, Boulevard of Broken Dreams is a great song, not as bouncy as the others on American Idiot.
