No coffee is not bad for you. The caffeine will really mess around with your system, but coffee isn't bad. It can also stain your teeth, but that's about the worst that I know of. I drink coffee all the time (not as much lately, but at work, I used to have 2-3 cups a day Moday to Friday ^^.)
And growth stunting....myth. I've had a tongue for coffee since I was about 8, I'm 20 now, and stand at 6'2", and my dad is 6'1".

Slightly ot: I hate coffee - though I do like the smell of it though.
But no, as far as I know coffee isn't bad for you. Though I wouldn't recommend drinking it at night, due to the caffination.

I've been hearing on the news quite a bit lately that it's actually good for you, in reasonable quantities of course. I don't know the details--I don't like the taste of it either way, blech.  But I also DO enjoy the smell...weird, eh?

Ask anyone who's had heart problems. They'll tell ya, coffee is bad for the ol' ticker, because of all the caffination. You should drink that stuff like it's going out of style, because it's not particularly good for you.

The only way drinking regular amounts of coffee can hurt you is if you put too much sugar in it - now that's a killer! Be safe, and take yours black - no sugar.
Seriously now, coffee won't kill you unless you drink inhumane amounts of it - just like water will kill you if you drink too much of it.
