Hold on a second, we don't know if he or she is referring to the music genre or the stereo type. If it is the music genre, then I can say that it is ok. If you're talking about stereo type, then maybe this isn't the best topic. I don't mean to bring you down what so ever. Besides, I'm not sure if it would be good for me to state an opinion. It isn't negative exactly, but I don't want to offend anyone.

Yeah, I don't exactly like emo either... but the way you framed it is just too offensive. Rude.
I mean, if you want to go against emo, do it with some dignity (and use an existing topic - they are ample).

I wish my lawn was emo, so it would cut itself.
