Aleu's quest was to find her place in the world, and she grew up to realize, that it was meant that her place in the world wasn't with Balto,Jenna, and her siblings.

First off, nobody ever said that movies had to be realistic. Apparently, Universal wanted to add some spiritual aspect to the Balto movies when they made Balto 2. A lot of that stuff, like seeing into the bear's thoughts was completely fictional, to make it interesting to an audience.

Second, the whole idea about "finding out who you are" has more to it that what you're seeing it as. In Balto 2, it was Aleu trying to find out if she was supposed to lead the life of a wolf or a dog.

But if you want to relate this to the real world, it's a lot more than knowing your own name, your appearance, and the basic stuff. It's more like finding out your true personality without the influence of artificial or superficial surroundings. It doesn't always mean having to run away from home, though. It could be as simple as just taking the time to ask yourself "Honestly, what is it that defines 'me'?"

But I'm no expert, though. I'm just saying what I know, however much or little that may be.

I don't know what they were thinking. No wonder people are sick of this movie. "Finding out who you are" is something everyone struggles through, its the plot in almost every single adolescent-saturated film, and no one wants to see them "find themselves" through a stinking legend that sounds like it came out of a bad fanfic. If a story is going to have a moral and a plotline that involves "identity" no one wants to see them reach their goal as easily as Aleu did. Its anti-climactic. Its boring. Its done before. Its crap.

It does get a bit tedious after a while. A usual cliché with DTV sequels is that the main characters have a kid who becomes a whiny teenager who runs away to find their place in the world. WQ suffered from this enormously, but the end made up for it since it's not your average ending.

You forgot a key word: SOME. If someone "is sick of your art" it doesn't automatically mean that it does actually suck.

Even if I agree that the plot could have been better developed, it's also true that the basic idea is always intresting. "Find out who you are" is also the plot of Balto 1, remember? It can be a metaphor for something else.

I guess if you want to dissect Balto to MAKE it relate to something thats as cheese as Wolf Quest, then sure. It was about "finding yourself" but did they come out and say "Balto has to find himself"? No, of course not, cuz that would be friggen stupid. Plots aren't supposed to be so simply put. Even a two-point Dot-To-Dot book has more complexity than WQ. The basic idea isn't interesting. "Find out who you are." What's interesting about that? You don't think about that stuff in such literal terms. You think about it, yes, but who really goes "Who am I?" if they don't suffer memory loss? No one.

Oh, and if someone's sick of my art, I don't particularly care. My art isn't considered "professional." tho if they're gonna continue to dish out garbage like WQ, it would be an insult to your everyday scribbler that he/she/it isn't considered a professional artist. Sorry, but I'm not exaggerating.

It pains me to know there's people here, adults, who can't tell a "good" movie from an "entertaining" movie from a "bad" movie.
