I saw this movie, opening day at the Regal newington 12, and i thought it was nice. I liked it alot. I hated the ending, its way too abrupt. Guess thats to draw in people for the sequal though. The actors were excellent, Dakota was a great choice for lyra, i thought. The story is amazingly smooth and really draws you in. Mrs. Coulter (played excellently by Nicole Kidman). I really like the thought of Daemons (pronounced "dee-mons") is cool. Voice for Pan (Lyra's shape shifting daemon) was a great choice. Overall an excellent film. I give it 4/5 Stars. Can't wait for the sequal.
