Yes, this movie was crap. It deviated from the original book a lot and copied 300 a lot as well (ex: Beowulf says "I am Beowulf!", which is obviously a bad "This is Sparta!" ripoff)

Thank you! I had high hopes for this movie. I enjoyed the book, and stupid me thought that the movie would be good.

I read the poem before watching the movie. Just to refresh myself. It reminded me just how boring it truly is. Too many strictly unnecessary historical asides.

Though the movie was rather lacking in the accuracy department, it was a fair action-aventure romp. And the 3D was a nice little wrinkle.

Call me crazy, but I actually liked this movie. XD. I thought it was pretty cool. Then again, I've never read the book or whatever that it was based on, but whatever. I thought it was good nonetheless.
