Do you think Zira was sort of a follower? She was always trying to complete Scar's plans to kill Simba.. true, she DID lead the OutSiders, but that's because Scar got everyone exiled.. Zira also can't do her own nasty deed, which caused the death of her own son..if she just killed Simba right there, and then, Nuka probably wouldn't have died...out of stupidity.. ugh..
anyways..for all you Zira lovers out there, this is NOT meant to start a flame war, just saying..i also luf Zira..she is creepy..

Well,in a deleted scene with Vitani,and Nuka,she did refer to Scar as her "beloved",Vitani,and Nuka,are racing each other to tell Zira,that Simba's new cub is a girl,so maybe the cub at the end of TLK 1 is a boy cub.

But of course! Why else would she obey Scar's orders after death?

well, she wouldn't be a leader, if Scar hadn't gotten killed, and Simba kicked them all out..

Well, she never exactly ASKED Nuka to go after Simba and get himself killed...

The cub at the end of TLK 1 was a boy, Kopa. He features in the Six New Adventures books that were releaseed after TLK 1.

As for Zira, I think she would've been if Scar were still alive but she would've been Beta/second in command and Nuka was trying to prove herself to Zira, sure Zira could've done more to stop her but she wanted Simba dead, didn't think of the consequences until it was too late.
