I just want to share some strange translation of films at first is names.
Homeward Bound:Look,the dog is speaking!
White fang:The snow golden dog.
Iron Will:The war at Icy River.
Dragonheart:The tale of magic dragon,or the fatastic Dragon slaying
Toy Story:The call for toys.
Finding Nemo:THe call for sea
Home on the range:the call for cows.(they bother me a lot )
Brother Bear:the tale of bears
All dogs go to heavdn:the legend of Shepherd.
Land before time:The escaped dinasourse
Spirit:The little horse king,
Bambi:Bambi,the little dear.
Balto;Botu,the little dog.
snow dog;The duty of ice dogs.
Braveheart:The love in war time.

They are strange I think,and I am still lookng for others.

And i really don't know what they are thinking whlle translating them.
All of those names are coming from HongKong and Taiwan,and ,hen,we always play jokes on them.
they just.........as flash said.....malform!

wow, these name are too weird, here in brazil we don´t have much of it, sometime they change the name but it hsve sense in brazilian language like "home on the range was translated "not even the cow coughs" what is a very used joke in brazil.

Other examples for brazilian:
Land before time:The quest for the lost valley.
Snow dogs: Snow for dogs

So true, so true! The Balto one was just... ug!
But some of the others I thought were quite funny! And the one for Spirit seemed pretty good to me as well.

In Romania we just get subtitles so we hear both original voice/titles of the movie and the translation in subtitles. That's how I knew English at the age of 10 without any english conversation.
