Yes,that would be very weird,no doubts there.

Balto's character design could actually work pretty well as a villain.

As for Steele, he's a very antagonistic-looking guy. There's not much that could be done to make him look more like a good guy. Maybe if you scuffed him up, broke his leg, and stuffed him in a trash compacter for a few seconds...

A concept that Balto reverses! and I think Steele is ugly because of his evil expressions in fact i hate him.

Yeah, if all they did was change roles, it'd be the same movie with different names. Steele would be the heroic wolfdog, and Balto would be the egotistical husky.

Hehe thats a worryin thought but yeah Steele as he looks really does fit the role of big, tough and mean... maybe if it was reserved he would just be seen as a big friendly kinda guy, doubt it though, looks go a long way.

It depends what you mean. If you still have the concept of wolves really not being as bad as people make them out to be then I wouldnt mind. But if the wolf was the evil character I wouldn't watch it. That's why I love Balto. Balto was someone I could relate to when I was going through some stuff and was picked on alot in school. It's part of the reason I love wolves. It made me wanna learn more about wolves and when I did I became obsessed. (in a good way )

Yeah, that would be weird. Although it would be easier for other dogs to see Steele as the bad outcast. He has that evil glare in his cold eyes. On the bright side, Steele would have the same colors of the pelt as the real Balto. =P =D

I would like the movie if they made the characters like you said. I think it would be just as enjoyable.
