You forgot to include the trio and cast of original voices as well ;)

But other than that, yeah I agree with you, the sequels were more or less quick money making "profit" schemes sitting in their minds. They thought very little about what made the first Balto so magical (I know its slightly biased as it's inspired by a true tale) and instead just merely repeated the similar story in WQ but hacked up. WoC seemed to have a little more thought but there was still to much wrong with it and that same feeling of having it rushed and unconsidered. If there was a 4th Balto then yeah it would be poor, the chances of them putting some effort into it would be slim to nil from what I've seen with most of Universal's sequels.

And on the day they do put some effort in, bring back the originals, write up a new story line and use some good crisp clean animating, satan will be ice skating to work -_-

I agree with this. They should've put balto with Disney Channel. Good job

At the very least Toon Disney. I do not know why they do not do that.

The main reason the actors usually do not return is if they know it is going to be a poor film, it is poorly done and quite frankly doing such a low budget and poorly done film can hurt one's career.

Universal is on a low budget now? I thought they were nearly as prominent as Sony!

But I agree... those who wish for a sequel should be careful what they wish for.

The animation scene of Universal's always been low budget. They specialize in live action movies, not animated ones.

It's not like that's going to change anytime soon. That's the attitude they adopted when they started and what they've kept. To them, LBT and Balto are cash cows of some sort.

They can still make very decent animation when they want to, and you can take Curious George (the animation movie) as an example. But it's only a matter of budget.

weren't An American Tale and Fivel Goes West both Universal? They were top notch animation jobs if you ask me and made really well. Also thats a good point about the original cast not coming back for the sequels too Drew, never thought it could be because they realised it wasn't gunna be done like before and possibly not as good. Anyway my main wish for Balto isn't to see a new film but just to be realised as the great film that it is, worldwide.

I agree that if they make a Balto four they should use good animation, bring Steele back, and advertise. I would still like it if they didn't do those things but I would like it even better if they did. Sorry if I sound rude.
