Well, I've gotten myself some rather cool songs, but I can't quite enjoy them properly, because they have vocals, which kind of ruins the epic melodies.
So I want to know if there are any good or decent 100% free vocal removing software somewhere?

PS. Sorry if this is the wrong section

You actually can't remove the vocals out of of song, but rather zero them out by crossing both channels (or more), but of course it retains adverse effects on your audio track. Most of your mid-range channels around 500Hz to 2kHz will be scrapped if the pitch syncs relatively close to the vocals, meaning you'll be commonly hearing the low beats, percussion, bass, and high range notes like electric guitars and maybe the synthesizers/keyboard if luckily undistorted.

Also yes, the software too can be another key. A freeware plug-in may appear easy to use, but sometimes a multi-channel sound editor works wonders. Also, most .mp3 files are compressed and already have lower quality to save space. WAV, AIFF, FLAC (Lossless), and AAC (Compressed Apple format) are common files I would recommend to use for getting better quality for removing vocals. Uncompressed audio files just sound so much better.
