Fanfiction idea: A Balto Christmas

I have a strange idea for my first fanfiction: a Balto themed Christmas Special. Since I've decided to use the dogs, I would like to use some charachter "equivalents". So far, I've got one charachter:

Balto-----Charlie Brown.

Any other ideas and charachters? Help is appreciated.

If you'd like to go with the most tired and overdone theme of all time, you can have Steele play the part of Ebenezer Scrooge, with Balto as Bob Cratchet. For a change of pace, why not have the trio play the Ghosts of Christmas past present and future. That might be funny, albeit overdone.

There's plenty of potential here. And, indeed, the Charlie Brown Christmas is recent enough to make it fresh.
