well, from where I am, yes, human is a kind of animal.

but please, think of other cultures here. this site is connected to all over the world. there may be some culture that says no. and I don't want to have a fight over custom believes.
If I recall it right, there were this topic once. it was full of flamings.

the problem is, even if we are a kind of animal, wa cannot understand other animal's language. neither they do to us. so ,when we miscommunicate, there might be some danger. for example, when you stare at a dog(because you liked it) . the dog won't like it. because staring means thread like "I'm gonna get you" or something that involves fights. but many people misunderstand it and thought that when a dog stares at you, just stare it back and it won't do you harm. (which is just the opposite)

And, when you smile at them. (smiling is one of "human language" that is used for every human) the dog might think like "hey, why are you showing your teeth? you wanna fight?" or something like that.

so in short. the danger happens because we don't understand each other's language.

I disagree: I think humans are parasites rather then 'animals'. Wherever humans go, destruction follows. They take everything that doesn't belong to them, and kill whatever creature that tries to stop them. Our Earth is dying because of them (no matter how hard conservationists try to save it).

Heck, in OUTER SPACE, the astronauts throw their garbage out into space...like they haven't ruined our planet enough already, why not destroy the universe as well!

I hope someone puts a stop to space travel before man destroys other galaxies and thier planets.

So, that's my opinion; Man is a blood-sucking parasite. If I were an animal, I'd be offended by the fact that humans call themselves animals......
