I'm walking down the cul-de-sac/street that I used to live on. Going towards my new place which is a few blocks down the road. The sky is gray but the scene is bright enough to see things clearly. It's cold, but dry and the wind is barely moving. The season is distinctly fall, because the trees that are on the hilly divider are drooping and shedding leaves. I encounter this fellow, walking the opposite way of me. He looks like a wanderer, in shabby clothes, haggard face, but bright eyes. I stop, and I turn around to follow him, for some reason. When I catch up, I feel I should say something cryptic and poigniant. So, I go right up to him and I say, "The Mississippi river has dried up. What will all the crawfish eat?" Or something along those lines. And he just stared at me, for a long time. Finally, I turned around, towards my old house and said, "And I've just creeped myself out." So I start walking, towards my old home. I turn to look back and the old man has turned into this young boy. If you saw Dr. Who season... one I think, picture The Empty Child. Just without the gas mask. he's following along, and closing in on me. I try to run, but I can't get my legs to move. He asks me a question. If I've had some kind of tea. I don't remember the type, but it sounded like he was rattling off the names of very questionable chemicals. I keep walking, trying to run, straining to get to my old house and then I woke up.
