ok...we all know that there is a limit of rp words in the shout box...right? but i find that annoying... i wish that there would be a limit a tiny weenie bit large than that... i mean like if you wanted to say for example:

* puts on hat* that is 3 rp words... so then you would have to say * hat on* of something close to that.... ( just an example)

but that really annoys me because nobody really is going to completley rp in the sb... just alittle. everybody does it. i see people all the time getting told that there are only 2 rp words in the shout box... the word that makes it 3 rp words is usually " a, " " the," " on, " and plenty of other little 2-3 letter words... it BUGS ME! i just wish that 3 rp words were allowed.... not 2..

Moonlight, it's not allowed, it's part of the SB rules and as a mod, I enforce them.

It should be raised to three. If I have to put an 'and' in there when I already have two words, I can't, which is really confusing when describing.

Personally, I think RPing on the SB should just be made against the rules all together. If not everyone can follow the rules for it there, then no one should have it. Harsh, maybe, but whatever. Besides, over half of the RPing actions on the SB are pointless. That is what the RP box is for.

I don't see why its considered roleplaying at all.
Roleplaying is putting yourself into someone elses shoes and staying in them.
Saying, *eats cookie on bench* isnt roleplaying,its stating an action.
I find it dumb to,but I also think if it were allowed more than 2,everyone would abuse the privelege.

The roleplaying words limit will never be heightened from two. It is more likely roleplaying words will be forbidden alltogether in the shoutbox.

Personally, I only use those roleplaying words for three purposes:
I don't like smilies, and I find it easier to to *grins* than :P
Often, I do *gives cookie* or *bans [name]* (no, I don't really do it, but it's a Wolflux (Silverstrike (omg, paranthesis in paranthesis)) joke ^^) for laughs and just pure fun.
If I want to roleplay with more than two words, I go to the RP box.


Also, the RP box is not a "normal" chat in all its means. The RP boxes on both sites are for either roleplaying as wolves/dogs, or (on TLK) roleplaying as Lions/Cats. It's for what roleplay really is; storytelling by several people.

Yes, but people find it hard to just use two words to describe something and it becomes nonsense. To make it not nonsense, people use 3 words, only to get their head bitten off.

You make it sound like we're doing something deadly O_o

Anyway, we didn't create these rules. We simply enforce them. Best way to get a final answer is by making steet known with this topic.
