Anyone else ever heard of The Rescuers? It's an underrated Disney film from the 70s. It 's one of my favourite Disney films and, like Balto, it's overlooked by Disney and given a crappy DVD (fans also did a petition for a Special Edition DVD).

In case you don't know, the story is about two mice - Benard and Bianca who are a part of the Rescue Aid Society (which is a like a UN for mice). They are sent out to rescue Penny, an orphan girl from the clutches of the evil but hillarious Madame Medusa.

In 1990, Disney also made a sequel - The Rescuers Down Under. Some fans hated it, some loved it more than the first, and some (like me) view it as a worthy follower.

I have actually always liked The Rescuers Down Under better. The first one is a great movie too, don't get me wrong, but for once I prefer the sequel.

Its been a long time since I last saw it, maybe ten years or so. All I remember it that I liked both of the movies. It feels like so long ago now, man I feel old.

I like The Rescuers Down Under better then the first one. It was better in it's plot, animation, and it had more humor too. All three are great reasons to watch it in my opinion.

It has been 10 years since I've seen "The Rescuers", never seen the sequel.

I kinda liked it though

I concur. The Rescuers Down Under was a lot better than the first; a rare treat for Disney sequals these days. This movie just made me laugh, like, nonstop. FRANK...WAS...BY FAR...THE GREATEST CHARACTER EVER!!! Lol. Joanna was pretty hilarious too, and the Albatros at the Doctor scenes were simply precious. XD Indeed, it is, a very underrated sequel, and even the antagonist was someone who's capable of having fans. ^^

One of those rare cases where I like both movies. I like the first one because it's dark and moody, and I like the second one because it's a sequel that's actually good.
