What would you say if they brought out a balto game? What would you like it to be like or what would you want from it, I guess If it were me, I'd want it to be as close to the story/orginal movie as possible. I would like to play as the main charecter, maybe even switching to another charecter depending on the situation. Anyway, Harry Potter 5 came out on BLU RAY and HD DVD, as well as DVD yesterday what do you guys think of the possibility of Balto 1 - 3 on HD formats? If MGM, Disney, and WB are doing can't Universal too?

Of course, personally a video game is one of the things that I would like the most. Not that it's going to happen anytime soon though... Quote: Anyway, Harry Potter 5 came out on BLU RAY and HD DVD, as well as DVD yesterday what do you guys think of the possibility of Balto 1 - 3 on HD formats? If MGM, Disney, and WB are doing can't Universal too? I think it won't happen before the main sales are on HD formats, probably in 5-10 years. They think that the main target are children/family, and they are surely not the ones who are buying HD DVDs or Blu-rays. And even then, it won't be "true" HD because the films weren't recorded this way. Harry potter 5 is a very recent film (so it was recorded in HD, unlike older ones), and very popular. Disney is only beginning to do it too, and they were among the first to release their animated films on DVDs too. Of course it would be a very good thing, but unless things change, they just won't make any effort.

Quote: I hear they got good sells of Wings of Change Actually it's the opposite (according to Glenn Ross...) Apparently Wolf Quest got good sales (according to the associate producer David W King), but WoC did not make enough sales to their eyes. Quote: I hear they got good sells of Wings of Change so that might raise the likely hood of a Balto video game and a forth movie. The only way would be if the franchise suddenly raised more interest (more sales) Like if they made a TV series, for example. Quote: If someone that knows Game Maker they could probably whip up an unoffical one, someone on the site is doing a project like that. I'd do it but I'm no good at making sprites. Well you're probably talking about the contest I did some time ago, but no one sent me anything concrete so I had to halt it.

The horse racing one, if it was something about the Melbourne Cup, was actually cancelled. It was the first of it's kind, too. Therefore, no-go.

Well whats the point of making a game when they arnt going to make a film? and about the hd and blu-ray stuff there not going to do that because Balto graffics are already failing so they dont want to make it any worse (well you cant XD)

I think because my vision of a Computer game is this: full of violence, blood, explosions, weapons, murder- all charackteristics of a "standart" computer game. I`m truly sorry that I have such impression what a computer game is. May be, a balto game connected with questions about the real world, questions that make people think would be a good idea. That means : to pass the game one must have some knowledge on a exact topic =)))

Well, you're wrong...It's true that there are a lot of games that fits your description (and I don't like these games too) But there are also more "clever" games, take the adventure games for example. Like, point & clicks games. As for the animated franchises, they usually get a platform game. I know that it would be possible to make a real good Balto game, if a good amount of time was spent on the story and the gameplay.
