Who made you laugh harder?
Back in the day, they both did about the same for me. Star was slightly higher though. I remember how much it made me bust a gut whenever Nikki smacked him. It was even more when he hit himself. To top it off, his impressions inside that ice cave... XD

I like both, but I think Boris is more amusing for me since he has more screen time.

Problem is, with his accent and often obscure tone, it's hard to understand what Boris is saying much of the time. Some of his lines I didn't understand until recently. There's actually one line of his which I have yet to comprehend, even having watched through the movie nearly 10 times.
Star's comic relief is purely action, so you can comprehend it - regardless of your age and ethnicity! All of his parts, bar the few serious ones, are absolutely hilarious!

I think star mostly because of the fact that comic relief was his main role. Boris had more of a character foil for Balto. He contradicted more than anything.

That ice cave! remember the E.T. impression? In the commercial, it said E.T. would come t to theaters March 2005. Balto was made in 1995, 10 years before.

I'd have to say Star. Not only is he funny, but he's adorable too! don't get me wrong, boris is just as awesome a character though.

Boris is better. His little dance to try to cheer Balto up was probably his best moment.
The only really good Star moment was the E.T. impression in the cave.
