This has been going on for FAR too long. Even before I was an articles mod. What the heck is up with these pointless articles and WHY are mods uploading them???

Articles are supposed to provide interesting information, like character sheets, true story information, and THOUGHT-OUT theories. All of the old articles were interesting! Some I even read more than once! But now I'm seeing articles like "BALTO'S LEGS LOOK FUNNY" and I'm like "Who friggen cares!?" And the mods are accepting these! And no, don't think I'm just picking on the mods, I'm calling out you people who actually leave comments on articles like these and go "Interesting find! Good job!" and encourage that kind of uselessness.

No one cares how many people think Steele's a husky (there have to be like 50 articles explaining how Steele is a husky and how Steele is a malamute. You don't NEED all of these! Just have one and leave it at that!). But no people are like "Well, this article has one good point and this other article has another good point!" Wonderful! Then combine them into one instead of having several one-sentence articles that "proves" something! It CAN be done, you know!

And then there are articles that say something but they can't prove it because they "don't have a pic." Then why make the article?? If you can't prove your point, why bother? Articles are supposed to provide information too, not the comments! What if I wanted to read the article and it doesn't tell me anything? You think I'm gonna read through all the comments just to find out? No. I'm gonna think "Wow, that was stupid and pointless." And I have and I know I'm not the only one.

I came on this site in hopes that my Balto fanart would get more appreciation, but when I found all of these interesting (keyword is INTERESTING) articles, I put their information to good use, and I took in everything. But now all I see is "how lazy the animators are" and all this other bullcrap and its driving me crazy. Normally, I wouldn't care, but everytime I get on this site, it shows me the new articles, and when I see something like "HOW BALTO IS RELATED TO ERAGON" I just want to throw someone down a flight of stairs. Its like every Tom, Dick, and Harry who decides to write an article gets it accepted because there "aren't enough" or some other excuse.

Now maybe you'll say "WELL, ITS HARD TO FIND INFORMATION ON BALTO ANYMORE! WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO!?" What are you supposed to do??? Are you KIDDING me!? Just stop sending stupid articles! Stop accepting stupid articles! And stop commenting on stupid articles! How else are you supposed to get interesting information on something if you're only gonna encourage the uninteresting stuff?? Besides, its BALTO, theres only so much you can talk about, and trust me, it's ALL been talked about before! So don't show the world you "discovery" when you saw "Balto's paws were a different color" in some random scene. Just leave what few articles that are actually WORTH something alone! Geez, and people wonder why no one likes Balto. They go on a fansite like this to look up information and they see stuff like "I FOUND A BLOOPER! TEEHEE DKJFGDSK!!!" at the top of this list! Yeah, that's definitely contributing to the site. More like contributing to the "******" if you ask me.

OH! And apparently, the "HOW BALTO IS RELATED TO ___" thing is becoming a problem. Pretty soon we're going to have articles saying "How Balto is related to Saw IV" And I'll bet anyone money that someone actually sent in garbage like that. And I'll give MORE money to the mod who REJECTED it.

I agree with you. This useless stuff that people are writing about in their "articles" doesn't intrest me anymore because it has been written about to many times. Yeah we know balto 2 had many bloopers probably everyone on the site knows that but then people have to write a article about one scene from it. It's gone far enough!

I never even visit the freaking articles section anymore. It is just piled with, as you said, bullcrap. Articles about 'which pup is which' - you'd think people would've learnt by now from your own article about them. Blooper articles...gah...there are way too much of these. And people commend any say "wow good find!!!1" or "u r so observant!!!" >__> And yeah...the breed topics are getting really annoying aswell

There used to be tonnes of good articles that people used to find interesting. But now so many are accepted...and so much of them are soooo craptacular, boring and non-interesting >__>

No, Togo, I KNOW LOL I didn't even accept the "less bad" ones cuz there were even too many of those. Y'all need to figure something out.

Well I'll need to find a way to dig up the best articles, so that everyone read the best ones. Either something automatic (like a "recommend" button, or a rating) or manual (someone could choose them) Because the visitors only read the newest, and most people haven't read the best ones (which could also be good examples)

It's been happening for a long time. Sure, some of my articles weren't great, but at least they pointed out things. People also just comment 'there's already an article liek thiz before!!1!' - okay, there's only the need for ONE person to say that, anymore than that and it's just spam.

But that's about comments, back to articles themselves. Most are riddled with bad grammar and useless subjects, so what's the point? You should actually spend time on articles, not just type them up in 15 minutes.
