why is it that sooo many rp's are about wars and stuff? i find it rather boring, and pointless...
So what if that's the point of rping, i thought it was to have a good time..

i suppose that would be for the best, i just don't understand why everything is so bloody, when it is a 'kis friendly' site...

Anyways, It's a RP. You can RP about WHATEVER you want as long as it doesn't break the rules.

Bruno: it's more kid-friendly than you're giving it credit for. The fanfics here are all tame compared to some of them that you could find on a fanfiction site where any fanfic with any kind of content can be posted. I mean, I know it's not 100% kid-friendly, but believe me, there are much, much worse fanfics out there than Cat14's "Buried Secrets" or some of the bloody fanfics you could find here.

Making RP's about war or Fanfics about war makes it more interesting.
Maybe your character could be some kind of bad guy running from the law during a war XD

An RP is the exact same thing as a story, only with many authors. The severity of the conflict must be proportional to the effort it takes to solve it. And every one is different. People are more inclined to join an RP where they believe is a lot of action. I can say confidently that I've learned from past experience that RPs with no interesting plots are sure to fail. And you can't really have an interesting conflict without some form of a fight to solve it. Unless of course, you have something like.

Mike: Hey you! I don't like how you're doing this!
Jack: So? What're you gonna do about it?
Mike: Errr...
Jack: You're right. It's pointless to fight. Let's all agree and hold hands while singing Cumbaya.

War and violence keep an RP interesting as long as it's controlled.
