ok... as seen below, i recently started a rant, and then like... 1 person made 2 other rants from my idea. now i am sticking up for my opinion on BOTH rants. people are backing me into corners and ruining the rant.
i thought rants were people stating their opinions, not arguing about other matters... this is rather annoying and i HATE IT!
if you aren't going to say anything nice, then don't say anything AT ALL.

We were being nice but you were flaming us. 'Nuff said. I'm getting a mod to lock this.

To be perfectly honest, people are only giving you logical reasons why your opinions seem misguided. They are not necessarily trying to ruin anything, just giving you an opportunity to re-think your stances based on logical advice. I won't lock this, because it hasn't turned into a flame war. However, just know that being stubborn isn't going to exactly give you a good reputation.

It's you that got yourself in the "corner". You stated your oppinion. Someone else told you how you were wrong that LKS isn't neglected by Steet, but the so called "big fans" of TLK. You flamed them. Never ONCE did I see someone else flame you, yet you thought you had all the right in the world to flame everyone who disagreed with you. Maybe if you could have taken a MATURE aproach to your "rant", you wouldn't have gotten yourself in "a small dark corner".

This is totally ludicrous. Oh no, The Lion King, Balto, blah blah blah! I mean, good grief. This isn't racism or war or anything! Heck, it's not even important. You've got a site for posting your stuff on. What more do you want? Steet actually has a life outside of his boards. Maybe you ought to create your own boards and then you can do whatever you want to.

You think that rants are about stating opinions? No, I think you think it's about everyone and their brother agreeing wholeheartedly with YOUR opinions. Every time anyone has disagreed with you, you've gone into a tizzy, shrieking and waling like no tomorrow. I think you need a lesson in manners.

That's the whole idea of a rant. You don't like something, you have a vent about it, people either agree or disagree. It's life, it happens.
You seem to forget that this is an 'international site', people from everywhere post here and you can't possibly expect everyone to agree with your opinion.

No one has 'backed anyone into a corner', you ranted, people disagreed, you flamed, they flamed back - flame war. If you have an opinion then good, it means you're not 'following the leader' but you have to respect other's opinions too.

Now enough of all this please, this is supposed to be a place for people to enjoy, not have arguments (and yes, that includes the Rant Board).
