I would only raise a lion cub,if I could teach it to live wild and free.

Even though raised by humans, they're still wild animals that could kill you. And it would be almost impossible for it to survive in the wild if raised by a human.

If given the chance I would definately say no. Not only are they wild animals, theyre HUGE, illegal, and are capeable of killing somebody even if they were only trying to play.

I just think it would be too dangerous.

This is what I'm saying.

And Gold I said it was ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. Did you read the almost? Plus I think things should be left the way they are. In the wild.

I think what Joy Adamson did with Elsa is 'Born Free' was amazing. Sure, Elsa was friendly even when she was grown up, but there came a time when she simply couldn't be confined any longer.

I say, raise a cub if it's orphaned, but after a few weeks, give it to the professionals. Lions are dangerous wild animals. In two years time, do you think your lion cub would be just as cuddly?

I would only ever raise a wild animal if I worked at a wildlife park/zoo/safari park and it was orphaned.
There are some people who want to just because "they're really cute and it'd be cool" but I don't agree with having a wild animal as a "pet" and I would only raise one with other animals of the same species with the intention of releasing said animal/s into the wild or into a zoo/wildlife park.

Only if it could live free as adult.

No.

They're wild animals. Not pets.

Well, I agree with you.
Only problem; pet dogs and cats are also "wild animals" (well, at least were, until we tamed them).
Who says that man cannot tame any kind of animal? All our existing pets have been wild once. Dogs, horses, cats, birds, snakes, lizards, etc.

What's the difference? All animals are "wild", however many species have befriended humans.
