Most people would probably think they were a wolf XD
Personally I'd think I could be a fox, Cunning,Sly, and mysterious. I could be a cat, Acrobatic, Intelligent, and cunning. Or I could be a snake, Sly,Mysterious. and mis-understood.
We did something like this in class once and I got Hawk. It totally didn't fit me. So I know that I'm SO not a hawk :]
But most of my friends say I'm wolf, Somewhat aggressive, A natural leader, and I usually fight off those who threaten my position
A few friends Say I'm a snake, Most of my relatives say Fox, And one or two friends say Cat. Personally I think Snake,Fox, and Cat fit better than Wolf XD
EDIT: THIS HAS TO BE A MISTAKE! I TOOK A QUIZ AND ENDED UP AS HAWK O_O AND IT DOESN'T EVEN FIT ME AT ALL
But I have no clue what I am. Here's what I did for that quiz thing:
1. Since we are drawn to that which resonates with us, what animal, bird, or insect are you drawn to?
Cats and wolves. All types too. Small house cats are sweet and the wild cats(big or small) are just like me, mis-understood, used to getting around easily, and almost like me in every way possible. I likes wolves because I'm like one- I "fight" off those who threaten my position as leader in my little school group, and manage to keep the "ranks" in order.
2. When you go to the park, forest, or zoo what animal are you most interested in seeing?
Usually I just want to see the large dogs and cats, and some of the large water reptiles.
3. What animal do you most frequently see when you're out in nature or in the city?
Birds, who doesn't see them?
4. What animals are you currently interested in learning about?
Belugas. I love them and feel bad for how they make Beluga caviare, even though I eat caviare myself
5. Which animal do you find most frightening or intriguing?
I'm frightened by Sharks but also interested by them.
6. Have you ever been bitten or attacked by an animal?
Yes. My cats bite me when I give them cat nip
7. Is there a recurring animal in your dreams or do you have one you have never forgotten?
In my dreams? Hmmm.... I've seen wolves, Cats, Horses(mainly when I was 10 to 12), Aqautic animals, and thousands of others. They just pop up at random and they always end up killing me.
Still Uncertain?
1. Ask yourself what animal has played a meaningful part in your world? If you're unsure, make a list of animals that have drawn your interest or have left a deep impression on you from paintings, photographs, stories, movies, carvings, etc.
House Cats. I love my two cats so much and can't imagine life without them. But for a deep impression? I'd say all animals.
2. Which animal shows up in your life most frequently? Keep a journal of the animals present in your dreams or that you encounter through the day for the next month. How did the animal behave? Did you interact with the animal?
In most dreams I'm usually killed by the animal even if it's something simple like a bug.
But sometimes I'll get to touch the animal. And oddly touching the animal in my dream I can actually almost feel it :]
3. Find a place where you can be alone to meditate. Sit quietly and ask your animal to make it's nature known to you. Feel free to use tools such as incense, smudge, and candles to help you.
My friend and I do this some times. But mainly her. She's a cheetah and usually runs faster and is most hyper after meditation.
4. Don't give up, sometimes your animal totem is nearby watching to see if you're serious about connecting with it. Keep doing the above exercises until your animal totem makes itself known to you.
Now here's the Fox Totem(Fits me)
Magic, Shapeshifting, Invisibility
Fox are seen as totems throughout the world:
the Chinese believed they could take human form,
in Egypt the fox brought favor from the gods,
there was a fox god in Peru,
foxes help the dead get to the next life in Persia,
Cherokees, Hopi other American Indian tribes
believed in its healing power;
the Apache credited the fox with giving man fire.
Since the fox lives "between times" --
on the edge of land, visible as dusk and dawn, and can guide the way to the Faerie Realm.
A fox can teach you to control your aura so that you can be more in harmony
with others and the world.
If you have a fox totem, learning to be invisible is very important in your life.
Imagine yourself blending in with your surroundings, becoming part of the background.
Be very still and quiet.
Through practice you can be unnoticed even at a party or in a crowd.
I have an acquaintance who used this power to evade several muggers;
he stood there in plain sight next to a building ,
and blended himself into the wall;
they did not see him and left without harming him. It can be done!
A fox totem also teaches good eating habits;
the fox eats small amounts frequently which medicine is now telling us is better for our health.
But fox people already knew this.
The fox is a wonderful totem to have.
Cat Totem:
Mystery, Magic and Independence
A cat totem encourages agility in both body and mind.
You will be challenged with new ideas and places.
The cat gives you clearer perception.
This spirit helper is resourceful, strong and fearless.
It will give you courage and confidence.
Examine the colors, character and behaviors of your Cat.
Everything about it will reflect in your own life.
When a Cat becomes predominant in your life,
magic and mystery come alive.
Associated with the Norse Goddess of Fertility Freyja
and the Hindu Goddess of Childbirth, Shasthi
and of course, the Egyptian Goddess Bastet who takes the form of a cat.
I say I'd be a mix of both. But also the site I have says that you have 9 totems.
So far I only know two. Cat and Fox. Heres the site I'm on:
http://www.linsdomain.com/totems.htm I have a Cat Inner Totem, And Fox is walking on my Right.
