WHen i am not slobbering over the balto forums, I am an avid anime watcher, and Escaflowne happens to be my top 5, Great story, kick *** music, the same person to do the music for the other KICK *** anime WOLF'S RAIN!!
I wouldn't watch the movie version unless you've already seen the series, sure they have nothing in common and is in fact a totally different story plot, the movie just isn't that rich. The series has almost all the aspects of a great story I so desire, romance, suspence, MUSIC, Rich round characters, and action!
Quite worth watching, even if you are not a total anime freak like I am!
