Is it just me or has almost everybody that's been in a Balto movie after the original not been seen or heard from again? I'll give you some examples:

Mark Hamill: Played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars movies. After playing Niju in WQ, pretty much nobody has seen or hear very much about him.

Lacey Chabert: When filming for WQ in 2001, Lacey Chabert was at the height of her popularity in the immensely successful Nickelodeon series "The Wild Thornberrys." After WQ, her popularity dropped immensely.

Mary Kay Bergman: After gaining tremendous success in voicing almost every single female character in South Park from 1997-1999, Mary Kay Bergman committed suicide on November 11, 1999 just after providing the voice of the fox in WQ.

Correction: Lacey Chabert, in 2001, was tremendously difficult to book and almost never gave interviews so it most have cost an astonishing amount of money to convince her to voice Aleu.

Another example example:

Sean Astin: He briefly became a household name playing the speech-impaired Doug in "50 First Dates" alongside Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler. One year later, he voiced Kodi and was immediately forgotten.

Actually, Sean Astin's popularity did not drop after Balto3, because he played Sam in the Lord of the Rings series after Balto3 was released. He was in other movies after that, but I can't think of them right now.

Sean Astin didn't have his popularity go down right after WoC, but after LOTR: Return of the King, I guess you could say so, although I thought WoC was released after that.

I knew that Mark Hamill pretty much has been unheard from then, and Lacey Chabert, as well. She was extremely popular around that time, but after WQ things seemed to wilt.

I didn't know that about Mary Kay, though. I'll look up some other actors in the sequels for the sake of it.

LotR:RotK was released on December 17, 2003 and WoC was released on September 30, 2004.

Wait... Lacey Chabert voices the character Meg in the TV show "Family Guy" I believe, and that's a really popular show, if my memory is right (I don't watch that show, but I've heard it was put back on the air due to extremely high DVD sales...)

Lacey Chabert voiced Meg during the first 2 seasons which lasted from January 1999 to August 2000. She also appeared in Daddy Day Care as Jennifer.

Dang, with all this, it's like there's a "Curse of the Balto Sequels"... any actor who is in one who used to be popular will no longer be popular afterwards! XD (that would only apply to the Balto sequels, meaning Balto 1 would be excluded)

Although I still don't think that Sean Astin's popularity dropped too much... he is doing a bunch of movies, according to IMDb, but to me, I'll always remember him as Sam Gamgee. XD

I looked up a few of the actors but lost my post, but there's quite a few who went on from being in DTVs only to voice characters in actual films, so not quite true.

Mark Hamill still does voice overs for minor shows like Sponge Bob, and he voices a character in a very popular show, Avatar: The Last Airbender. So I guess his popularity hasn't dropped so drasticly. He just wants to run away from his reputation of being Luke Skywalker.
