This rant is about something that annoys most people, mostly in the rp box.

((Note: This rant is about the rp BOX not the Fourm rp section))

This really annoys me. In the rp box some members have no patience (sp?) During an rp they post something, and push enter again and agin AND AGAIN, so that when the page finaly loads the box it's full of about 50 post all the same. Then they yell out "Whoops, the enter key got stuck :O"

Not only is this extremly annoying but it shows a real lack of patience -_-

If you do not understand the rant so far, here is a little example,

(Read top to bottem)

Member: Blah blah (Advanced rp)

Member 2: Can I join please? * As the page is loading they push the enter button count less times*

Member 2: Can I join please?
Member 2: Can I join please?
Member 2: Can I join please?
Member 2: Can I join please?
Member 2: Can I join please?

(And so on)

This is also extremly annoying for the rpers.

This also includes on the shout box.

And saying "Opps ,my enter bar got stuck is only spamming more, is completly usess to say. Once you've done it it's done, yet you still go mad with the enter key.

Please explain your views on this. Once is an actident, 500 times is just impatient.

I'm sorry is there is a topic like this already. I've looked throught the rant bored but I may of missed it.

fifty posts,no thats way more intentional than an accedentail double post i double post by accedent all the time, but its never been more than 2 of the same post, i have a bad habit of double clicking

I do that a LOT by accident, and you'll see why. My internet has been horrendously reduced to the speed of 28k, and sometimes the RP box (or SB) absolutely refuses to load (since I'm usually loading something else in another tab with Firefox). Therefore, I'm forced to refresh.

Yes, it is a pain in the butt, but I usually wait for five minutes maximum for it to load and then I go 'rahh refresh >:/'.
I don't have this problem with the 'Submit' button, but it usually is a bit slow. People just lack patience, that's all.

Double posting isn't that bad, but it's just some people who keep pressing enter as the page is loading. I created this topic because of the number of people I've seen saying Can't you push the enter button once -_- When people keep clicking it just fills the box with useless messages.

Colbat~ Yeah. I think it can sometimes happen by accident if the page refreshes, but that's just an actident. But going mad with the enter button is just impatient.

It's pure impatience, yeah. People lack patience nowadays >_>

That aways happens to me. Not because I press enter more then once, it is because my computer freezes up, and when I press refrsh another of the same last post i did, is there again.
