Why do some of you like Steele?
I mean he i selfish, mean, stuck up, and horrid to Balto. He tried to prevent the medicine from getting to Nome for his own glory and nearly killed Balto in the process.

Because he does his role well with attitude - evil antagonist with nothing but pure hatred for the antagonist. Oh, and he's teh smex.

You're right Sheba. He's selfish, mean, stuck up etc, as well as incredibly vain. But that's why people like him - he's a very believable antagonist. He just wants to stay in the spotlight, and he's so proud of it that he'll do anything keep things that way. Even if it means abandoning his team...

Because he's a great antagonist. The voice work for him was superb. He was a dynamic and interesting character. Oh, and as Cobalt already alluded, he IS a big black and white pile of teh smex!

Steele is a wonderful character! He's easy to write for, the fact that he is selfosh, vain and down right horrible makes him fantastic.

isnt this post a litle irrelevent? sheba why post these pretty much useless topics, when you do, you come off as being a very bored person, just looking for something to do.

The vast majority of topics on any forum are largely irrelevent. That's why they are on a message board in the first place and not on the front page of a newspaper or on TV.

well, some of us must still try to come up with slightly better posts you know, to make the site more interesting.

there is precious little to talk about the Balto movies now. Surely useless topics are better than no topics?

Also haven't other member's made topics that are just as useless?

And several others have posted here and seem interested.

Most people said it. He is mean, stuck up, and an antagonist. It's like you can't stand him, but you have to love him, don't know why though, haha.

None of this explains all of the "Jenna x Steele <3 <3 <3" propaganda...

I think the traits you listed are why people like him. Certain people (whom I shall not name publicly) are just intolerant of any virtue whatsoever.

I think people like Steele is like what slayguy said "He's easy to write for." I think people like him because, like me, they can take an evil character and imagine them as a good character. I did that with Niju in my fan fic. I mean heck, he falls in love with Aleu!

But don't worry about it. Any topic you post on here doesn't have to be the biggest one. You can post them about pretty much almost anything you can think about. Don't take other people's crap.

If you don't find a topic interesting then don't reply to it. That's when it becomes more pointless, when members post just to say how much they think the topic is boring or just to say an 'Oh so witty' comment about the user. End of discussion.
