Okay...I have a HUGE selection of old characters that I made, but never or hardly ever used or were only used once. These are just the ones I've already drawn, so... Yea. They have very vague backgrounds, so except for a few details, they're pretty flexible when it comes to using them for fanart or fanfics or fanimages or roleplaying or whatever you want to use them for. I'm going to add more probably cuz I KNOW there's more that I just want to get rid of. But I can't just simply let them go unused because alot of them I still think are cool. But really...I don't need anymore dog characters.

-They CAN be "killed off." It doesn't matter to me.
-They CAN fall in love with whoever they want, whether it be a different gender, species, whatever. But they CANNOT BE AFFILIATED WITH ANY OFFICIAL BALTO CHARACTERS.
-DETAILED bio must be presented (ALONG WITH THE SAMPLE) like the one below.

I added more characters to adopt. HOWEVER, they are only COLORED from a Balto picture. Their body structure is completely up to you. Same rules apply, HOWEVER, you can either adopt one from the first section (the ones that don't have the same poses) AND adopt one from the second section (the ones that do have the same poses) OR you can switch OR you can pick one or the other. I will allow two adoptions per person IF AND ONLY IF they're both from different sections.

History: One of the few with a more elaborate history. Was chosen by Nava to have pups for him since Nava was old and infertile. Found a stray wolf named Nyota and fell in love with her, having pups with her. Later finds out she was abusive to her pups and crazy, but is helpless against it. She was later accidentally killed in a scuffle with Aleu. Later on Aleu passes a law to allow mating rights to everyone in the pack.

History: A sleddog in Russia who was teamed up with Dakota. The two had an immediate bond together because they found that they looked almost exactly alike. Being the more experienced one, he'd always look out for Dakota. But he did not race in The Reddest Race. He refused.

NEW ONES:

These pups are a few I designed for Cobalt when he mates with LJ's character Vienna http://www.animationsource.org/balto/en ... /1176.html . It's been a few years since Melody's death and Cobalt had nearly forgotten about her at this point, meeting Vienna. In hopes that he could get a new son, he has about 5 or so pups with Vienna. All of them were girls and the only boy died at birth. Not long after, Cobalt ran away to live the remainder of his life in White Mountain.

The golden retriever mix eyed the large Shepherd as he walked past.
I can't risk this... He thought angered. But...I can probably trick this dope. He continued in his mind.
Bundey then smirked and pounded the bushes with his tail. His scent was covered by the thick scent of damp moss and fresh cut grass, making his scent natural.
Max raised his head, "Could be just a squirrel... But at this hour- Wait maybe a hungry squirrel..." He barked to himself still sniffing the ground.
Yup, He's a dope as I suspected. Bundey laughed in his mind. His position shifted as he slowly crept forward through the bush. He hoped his natural scent was enough to trick the old Cop Dog.
He really had to be somewhere and if he failed and was caught they'd keep him all night then if they returned him to his master he'd make sure that Bundey was never to escape again! His paw shook as he raised it above the ground in front of him. He narrowed his eyes to see through the dark and noticed the stars gleaming in a reflection of a puddle.

Other: He violated Jenna when she was younger. Since that happened that's why it ties into Black as Night because the main character in it is a cop dog XD

I know my sample was short =O

Other: Is also one of Kiona's old fellow teammates. If she wasn't the lead dog, he was often switched spots with her so he could lead. But he doesn't care to follow orders. He was the one she attacked before she ran away, but it is unknown if he lived or not.
Sample: I only have a fic sample at the moment, hope it's alright:
He wondered aimlessly through the vast wilderness that was marked the "wilderness". His brown leather collar was now torn and worn in so many places, it was just as bad as the first one he had on before he was adopted for the first time. Luckily for Fox that no human had caught her roaming the outskirts and slamming his sorry tush back into the horrid place called the Adoption Center. He growled just at the though that rolled into his transformed mind. 'That stupid mutt Kiona, she'll pay one day if she ever shows her sorry face ever again...' Fox snarled to himself pausing from his stroll in the snow.

Was it becuase Thomas seemed to love Kiona more than himself? No, that's not the reason, it can't be the reason. The male canine sighed deeply through his onyx lips, drowning in his thoughts. "I only left to get away from that rag of tainted fur..." He wondered over towards a large rock, sheltering form the winds that began to pick up. It was the middle of fall, so the winds were colder than before and large snowflakes fell like there was no tomorrow. What a great few weeks it had been...

His body was skinny and his pelt was filthy. The brown collar tilted to one side as if it were too big, due to his thinning coat. 'When did it seem to get so cold all of a sudden? I should have stayed at home, then my coat would have been thick and healthy...' Fox shook his body from head to tail and cleared any flakes that had fallen on his skinny bodice. Slowly he slid onto his belly, now trying his best to not think about Kiona and the humiliation she had caused him. For now, he lay there beside the boulder as the first sight of heavy snow began to fall, and as a blurry shadow towered overhead.

Fears: Water (as in lakes and stuff), being left alone
What I plan to do with him: He'll be in Guidance of the Moon (Dingo's story) and have his own fanfic as his story breaks off from Dingo's later on.
Other: Is also one of Kiona's old fellow teammates. If she wasn't the lead dog, he was often switched spots with her so he could lead. But he doesn't care to follow orders. He was the one she attacked before she ran away, but he barely survived. He was left at a veterinary hospital to get better as Thomas was unsure whether it was still wise to keep Fox on the team. He was depressed there, watching the other sickly and injured animals go by. Fox was adopted by another musher, Nikolas. Fox kept away from other huskies the first night, and in the morning he decided to approach them. He was surprised that Dingo was among them, as well as Ayira, a leopard husky mix from Africa, a black and brown short husky named Toto, Tyko, a gray Jämthund (aka Swedish Elkhound), a black husky named Hugo and Alice, a sandy husky mix. The team entered the Inaugural Nome Dash of Determination, and Dingo was pitted against Kodi. A bet was made between the brothers that the winner would get Katie, a pretty red and brown husky, as their mate. During the race Dingo became lost in the snow, and Fox noticed a black wolf following them. He persuaded Dingo to ask for help, and the wolf, Selene, guided them back to Nome. Dingo decided to let Kodi have Katie and chose Selene as his mate. Fox was at first not happy with Dingo's choice, wanting Selene for himself. Dingo later left the team and Fox was assigned the lead. They didn't do well at all without Dingo in the lead as they were used to running with him, and soon the team had to be sold. Ayira was sold to a show dog trainer, and Fox to a young man named Aaron. Fox was determined to find Ayira and ran off after her, and found her in a neighboring town. Ayira was doing well, but she had found another love interest, a malamute named Madden. Fox wasn't willing to fight him but decided to sneak off with Ayira. They lived in the forest for a week, during which time Fox and Ayira decided to become mates. Ayira was expecting pups when Madden lead his owner to the pair. Madden's human had made an agreement with Ayira's owner that the two would have pups, and to see her with Fox was enough. He shot Fox, whom was dragged by another dog for help. Fox recovered with some mental side effects, but he wouldn't be able to sled again. He changed to prefer either Ayira's company or his own. With Ayira's help he struggled back to Aaron, whom adopted Ayira as well and was delighted with their pups, although Fox was reluctant to stay with them for long periods of time.


Sample:
A blurry golden figure blotched with dark spots appeared in his vision. Fox was excited about its appearance, but was exhausting due to starvation.
“A…Ayira?” Fox asked. “Ayira! Please… need… to... tell…” The grey husky mix slumped onto the ground. “Important… listen… Ayira…” he whimpered. Everything was blurring and swirling and becoming darker. The figure seemed to be fading away. “No… stay… Ayira…” Fox’s conscious was slipping, sliding down into a black descent… “…please.”

Fox’s vision returned to him, although incomplete at first. Everything appeared as fuzzy shapes at first, but as Fox blinked, everything became clearer… a bright light shone down on him. It confused him at first, but then he realised it was simply a light and nothing more. He was lying on a wooden table with a blanket over it in a room. A familiar face looked at him.
“Ayira…” Fox whispered. He blinked again, thinking it was a dream, but his vision fully cleared. It was her!
“Ayira!” Fox barked. His tail wagged slightly and he smiled, still exhausted. His stomach growled at him, like another dog inside him. Fox groaned. He lifted his grey head up to look around. He was in a house; indeed… ribbons were pinned to a board in one place. Different shapes, sizes and colors. In another place, collars were hanging off nails hammered into a cabinet wall, decorated with many trinkets and shiny stones. He looked around to have his blue eyes lock on an adult human. His ears perked up. This one was female, and had brown short hair and brown eyes. She smiled.
“Well, glad to see you’re alright. You gave us quite a scare there,” she said. Her voice was a little sharp, yet kindly. “Here.” The girl placed a ceramic bowl on part of the table that didn’t have the blanket covering it. An enticing scent drifted from it… Fox was able to shuffle himself towards it. It was filled with dry dog food, with some broken off pieces of dog biscuits mixed into it. Fox hungrily dug into it with his muzzle. His famishment faded away as he was refreshed by the meal. It was so good to be finally eating something after travelling for so long without it. Ayira’s brown eyes followed the girl as she left the room, and then peered up at Fox’s blue ones. He looked up to see her looking at him. He smiled slightly.
“You can have some if you want. Don’t be shy,” he said, nudging the bowl towards her. It tipped over the table. Fox cringed as the delicate bowl smashed in a mess on the floor, scattering dog food everywhere. Ayira yelped and stepped back, frightened by the sudden noise. Her human rushed back into the room and noticed the remains of Fox’s meal on the floor, its consumer whining from above. He had been enjoying that…
“Oh dear. It’s okay, it’s okay,” she said, petting Fox’s head. Ayira sniffed the food on the ground and started to nibble at it.
“Ayira! Stop stealing the poor gentleman’s dinner,” she scolded. Ayira’s ears pinned back as she retreated from her prize. The girl opened a rather large cupboard to retrieve a broom to clean up the remains. She swept it into a wooden bin and put the broom back into it’s original resting place. She got another two dishes from a different cupboard and filled the larger one with water and the smaller with more dry food and set them on the table. Fox lapped up the water eagerly and ate all of his food, not really fussed about making such chaos as he had always done, but embarrassed for nudging it off accidentally in front of Ayira. The girl took the empty plates and placed them in a sink.
“Hey Ayira,” Fox whispered, stretching his neck out towards her. “What’s that girl’s name?”
“Heather,” Ayira responded back, sitting still in front of her leader. Fox looked up at Heather. If it had not been for her, he would still be outside, unconscious and famished. He forced his weak legs to stand upright and jumped down from the table, nipping at her snow boots playfully. Heather looked down at him.
“Hmm… I don’t think I’ve seen you around. You must be a stray, poor thing,” she said, patting Fox. “Which means naturally you need a name, but what to call you?” Fox barked at her. He was quite happy with his current name, and he didn’t need another one.
“How about… Maddox? After all, it does mean lucky.” Fox didn’t really care for ‘Maddox’, as he’d always be known as Fox no matter how many names he was given. Ayira barked happily at Heather, wagging her long, thin yet furry tail. She didn’t really care either, but Maddox was a nice name to her.
“Maddox it is! I think it’s rather cute.” Fox rolled his eyes. He did not want to be ‘cute’. ‘Cute’ was for girls.



Going for Leonti as second choice

Personality: Headstrong and athletic. Willing to fight if he is forced to
Likes: Rose, Yakone, being wild, Ohoko to some extent
Hates: Being restrained, Sangilak, Dakota
Fears: Bears, meeting the pups he had with Ohoko
What I plan to do with him: Write a fanfic about his life story, draw him (of course)
Other: Was a good sled dog until he was 5. But when he decided to run against Dakota, Benjamin, Cobalt, Zeus, and Tybalt and came across a bear, he ran away. He ran into a wolf pack and was accepted in under the condition that he would never reveal himself to the human world again and would become the alphess Ohoko's mate, as her pack desperately needed an alpha male, and Ohoko wouldn't accept any other male's mateship. Leonti accepted, but only because he was unsure whether there were any other packs around, and it looked as if Ohoko would kill him if he didn't. He always missed Rose, the husky he had tried to race for, and Ohoko always hated her. They traveled together to find her, Leonti to make her his mate and Ohoko to kill her. Leonti discovered her wishes and tried to attack her, but then was so infuriated attempted to murder her. Ohoko survived, but kept a tabs on him, waiting for an opportunity for revenge. Soon Ohoko had an odd litter of pups - some looked like they belonged to the beta male, Sangilak, and some to him. Unknown to him some of the pups actually were Sangilak's, due to a breeding season mishap. Ohoko started getting sick of him and wanting to be Sangilak's mate, and she was tired of his obsession with Rose. Ohoko knew of his fear of bears and left their adolescent pups one day in known bear territory, forcing Leonti to retrieve them, pretending to be injured. Leonti unwillingly went after his offspring and unfortunately ran into a bear. He made his children run and tried to fight off the bear, still terrified, but had been badly injured. The bear suddenly heard the cry of its young and ran back to them, only attacking Leonti territorially. Ohoko arrived and didn't help Leonti on treason reasons, and left him there, saying that he wasn't there. Leonti was saved by a passing sled team, but later escaped to search for Rose again. He mistook another young husky for Rose-Red, Yakone (said Yah-kon-ee), and took her as his mate, hoping he would never run into his hybrid pups again...


Sample:
The yellow-eyed gray wolf’s home for the Qannik clan was in fact a cluster of caves. It seemed he’d be sleeping there the night. He was grateful for Ohoko’s hospitality, but not so much about their deal. He wasn’t really attracted to her, instead still longing for the red-faced husky he had tried to win from all those other dogs.
“Ohoko,” Leonti started. “Have you seen a red husky with a cream muzzle around here?”
“Why, is it someone you knew?” Ohoko asked. Leonti nodded. “Well, I have seen one… a female walking with another red male. I saw her myself. The female… Rose, was her name? She seemed pretty upset with this guy. He looked like a hybrid to me, wolfish paws, blue and yellow eyes and all.” Leonti growled. So Dakota had won the race, huh? He deserved Rose more than him, having to run in the night and… Leonti shuddered. And face the bear…
“Not happy, hm? She was a fine specimen, even for a husky… I can’t blame you. But this is our time now,” Ohoko said, walking into a cave. The other wolves had dissipated into other caves. Leonti sat down, facing the forest behind him, and thought. So her name was Rose… although Ohoko may not like it, he secretly still wanted her mateship. But the gray wolf was right. Rose was a fine specimen, and to let that mutt get her… it was a waste of a beautiful life. He could have made hers so much better, yet to think Dakota had won… Leonti snorted. No. He hadn’t won yet. He would find Rose, and make her see what he could offer her. Leonti looked back at the cave. Ohoko may not be happy with it, but he had to see her again. The malamute decided to go into the main cave where everyone seemed to be. He walked over the grassy fields and onto the rocks to enter.

“Settle down, everyone!” Ohoko’s voice called over the noise of wolves. The chit-chat and gossip continued to stream from the group.
“Quiet!” Some of the wolves obeyed their alphess’ orders, but others continued.
“Shut up, you lot!” There was only one left talking – the dark brown wolf with orange eyes. Kinapak. Ohoko jumped down from her higher rock and ran up to him, biting his neck. The omega yelped in surprise.
“You’ll be quiet when I tell you to, Kinapak, or your fate may be worse next time. Hear me?” she demanded. Kinapak nodded frantically. Ohoko surveyed his frightened yet submissive posture and smirked at him, and turned tail back to her place.
“Well, Qannikans! What a day, what a day. But we all know by now, don’t we?” Leonti was confused at her words. Unless she meant to introduce him? Leonti tried to blend into the mainly gray, black and brown crowd, but he was a stand-out. “We have a new alpha male!” Whispers ran through the gathered.
“Now, I know what you’re thinking, I’m rushing into things. You’re all very lucky I came here in the first place, or you would have been leaderless.” So Ohoko wasn’t rightfully the alphess, but came from other places like him. Her yellow eyes flashed and met his deep chocolate brown ones.
“Introducing Leonti!” she called. Leonti walked up to the podium. All glowing eyes were on him. Whispers ripped through the audience again. A dog? As their leader? It was not unheard of, but still very rare… there were very few wolves willing to take a dog mate, especially ones like Ohoko.
“So yes, Leonti’s our alpha male. Now, uh, tell us a bit about yourself, Leonti!”
“Well…” Leonti started. “I was born in Fairbanks, bred for sledding, if you know what that means.” The wolves nodded. “I was a sled dog for a good part of my life, and then I got into a race against some other dogs, including some wolfdog mutt called Dakota.” Ohoko paid full attention. So… his name was Dakota. Dakota was linked to her past, and now she knew. The one who kicked her out of her old clan, Suka, was heard to be his younger sister from a later litter. This definitely seemed interesting.
“So, anyways, the race was for a female red husky with a cream muzzle, and whoever got to her first won her.” Ohoko’s eyes flashed viciously. So this was Rose! It all made sense now… Dakota, the red mutt, must have been in it and won the race.
“About the other dogs – one was a red husky named Benjamin, another gray husky named Zeus, the third… I don’t know what breed he was; it was a brown dog hybrid anyway, named Tybalt. And the last dog was a malamute collie mix named Cobalt. So we set off, and I decided to run through the night with Zeus. We got ahead, but we were attacked by a bear. It killed Zeus and I ran from it, knowing I couldn’t take it on myself.” Leonti shivered. “…and that’s how I made it here.” Talk rippled through the wolves again. It seemed quite a story. Ohoko was intrigued by it. So this Dakota could be used as bait to finish off Suka once and for all. Why Ohoko hadn’t linked the two earlier bewildered her – they looked so alike now that she concentrated on it. Red nose bridge, yellow and blue eyes, a real hybrid-like build. Yes, they were related. But what about this Rose? She could prove a difficulty if Leonti liked her. Ohoko shook her head. No, that wasn’t possible yet. Or at least, she hoped so…

history: he was wondering around one day working on his stamana when a huge man with a sparkling knife jumped out at him and stabed him in the ear, now he is very aware of humans.He became a sled team mate with kiona, buck and ashes (but i dont know if the team is still together)

heres part of the story:
It was cold out side in the snowy mountan top town.Name wandered the streets in serch of shelter.He finaly found an alieway that had a roof on. The snow couldent get in and it felt quite snug. Name found an old pice of furiture but it had sharp pointy springs stiking out of it , insted he tust took the cusions and layed them on the damp gravled floor.Suddenly a crash of pans and faling plancks of wood rang in Name's ear. He stood his ground,fur brisling .A shadow appeared on the allie wall, it looked like a dog being flung out of a house.
the dog yelped and wined as the human slamed the door. he ran to the dor scraping away the wood and rubbery paind with her claws begging for the human to orgive her.Name stood in shock then as a chill off ind came brushing through the alli he walked over to the female."Are you ok." She tured snarling at him but underneath the snarl he could see she was frightend of him."its ok i wont hert you" Name said in a calm way, she stopped snarling and there was a moment of silence. The female shook her head"just go away!" Name to a step back pulling his head back in offens.Her belly rummbled as she sat moaning at the door, Name glanced around the allie for food he checke the garbage bins as thee was a resteraunt back door there. Luckil he found a pice of chicken half eaten, it asn't the best but he thaught it ight help her.With the chiken still in his mouth he waved it infront ov her eyes, se turned to face him as he dropped it on te floor and nuzzled it towards her.
she tilted her head to the side, sniffed the half eaten chiken then began to slwly nip her way throuh it with her eyes still locked on Name.When se had finnished she beggan talkng felling confident he was tying to hel her, "so whats your name?" she asked "Name" he replyed. "yes you ame what is it?" she asked again.
"my name is Name.Nae is my name" she looked confused but then relise his name as name. she giggled "sorry hehe my na hehe me is molly" he bega to softly giggle with her
"what a beautiful name" he replyed gazing into er eyes. Here eyes widened as her mouth was shaped as a small O, then she smilled and backed her ears she began to blush. Suddenly without relising she closed her eyes and began to lean forwar to him.They beggan to nuzzle,there tails waggingas the closed there eyes softly andrubbed againsed each other.

Fears: falling in love, meeting his offspring
Other: He violated Jenna when she was younger and is the reason why she's occasionally timid. He often escapes from his master to make the moves on another girl dog. Sometimes he doesn't succeed, but he had impregnated a few. He never wants to meet his pups, nor has he met them.
Mate: he's gonna continue being a stud

The young dog heard the crunch of the snow behind her. Something was wrong. Something was stalking her. She turned once more and called out "Who is there?". No answer. After looking around for a few minutes, she started to walk again. No sooner did she take a step, a large dog ran up and immediatly grab her waist. The one year old let out a yelp and immediatly ran off, but the large shadowy figure soon caught up to her and tripped her, forcing her to land in the snow, and repeat the actions that made her run in the first place. She looked up and saw a terrifyingly familiar face. she stared at him, tears running down her eyes as he released her from her place in the snow, and walk away with a grin. As she rose to her feet she heard something so simple, yet bonechilling she couldn't even begin to think about thinking about it. "Hiya Baby."

On second thought, I think I'm gonna drop my application. The story I was going to write is already done, and writing Bundey into it would just be another distration from my college work. Besides, writing Bundey into my story might bring it to PG, and I want all the readers of my other stuff to be able to read this one too.
