I was thinking alot the other day after I watched Balto 1 (Again) should Balto's dad really be in the movie. I mean, you know, his mother is in the movie so, why isn't Balto's dad in it. Sorry, I forgot what I thought. I think yes, he should.

I don't think it would really match with the story line.

No. If his father was in the movie, he could help Balto find acceptance. That could ruin Balto being an outcast, which is a vital part of the movie.

No offense but, what would be wrong with Balto not being an outcast? But then again, it would kind of ruin the movie, but I'm sticking with Balto's dad should be in the movie.

If Balto's father was in the movie, there would be no need for Boris.

What would be wrong with it? Umm, that's what made for some of the best parts of the entire movie! Let's put it this way: if he wasn't an outcast, this wouldn't be my favorite movie.

Oh. didn't mean to do that.

His father should appear in another chapter. Balto IV (If one ever gets made) should be about Balto and his father and at the same time focus on his relationship with Dingo or Kodiak.

Yeah, and perhaps reveal the story between him and Aniu.

I'd say no, a mother is the only one who cares for her children the most you see(fathers may be like that too but what in the world could be compared to the bond between the mother and her children? She cared for you even before you were born, sure, your father can sometimes understand you better but still).

Balto's mom --> closer relationship, she helped him carried the serum to Nome and again helped him and Aleu, and if I remember correctly, his dad wasn't even mentioned in all the series :? , hidden character for future purpose maybe?

Choosing mom works for me. Just my opinion though, you can stick to your own if you want.

And that'd be a great plot for Balto 4 (If there is) rather than focusing on the other pups they should reveal us something 'bout Balto's parents, too, interesting...

Mothers are typically more involved, but Balto had to get some of his positive traits from his father. He probably got his soft nature from his mother, and his nobility and sled skills from his father.

I could probably see him in Balto 4.

Slight error Beta
I agree though, Balto probably does get his sled dog traits from his father.
