I believe you can have good friends in teenages. It's not entirely impossible. I have a few friends at school that I've only known for three years. But I know that they would never use me.

Even though I'm not a teenager I'm 22 years old. I have a friend that I have been friends with since we were 6 years old and we are still friends! We have been friends for about 16 years now! Thats a long time to be friends with someone! hahaha. I have 2 friends that I met in high school in grade 11 and we are still friends.

Well, I've known one of my 7 best friends since I was about 4 years old.

She's 16 now and we've never fallen out properly so I say yes, there are.

It depends on your interests. I've never found any proper friends in the town I live in simply because they're not my type of people, they don't like the same stuff as me but around here there are loads and I've made tons of awesome friends who are teens. Also if you go looking for a frieend, chances are you won't find one, the best friends just come along.

Given, not all friends will be true. I've had many friends that I cannot trust, not even their parents! Most of this is because my sister got pregnant at 15, and again around her late 17 (she has two babies, a boy and a girl). This caused people to think "Well, if Ashley does this, Carrie will, too."

I beg to differ! Not only has my sister, Ashley, jumped around in relationships, but she has a lot of scandals to "escape" our house, as well. She's had D.C.F.S. (Department of Child and Family Services) in our face because, frankly, she isn't a good mother t'all. Then, people walk around and call me "Dirty Shaw," thinking I will be just like her.

However, I do have a couple of good friends. Like Maya, Tibb_wolf, Night, and Balto_sis. Those are the few people on this site that I think I can go to and trust. However, there are so few that I know face-to-face, their names I won't mention (for their safety).

My point is; that no matter your age, there will be friends who are true, and others who are fake. Don't think that your friends are awesome, because I'm sure some of them have told your "secrets" to other people.

I agree with Black Shimmer. It doesn't matter what age they are, even if there a teenager. And not only do I belive, but I know teenagers can make good friends. I may only have one friend, and shes a teenager (Animal~~lover).. and of corse shes my best friend. It can be very hard to make friends.. for some reason no one else wan'ts to be my friend..

I only have 1 friend, but shes not in any of my classes in schools. No one else knows I exist. I barely even talk to anyone in school. The most popular people in my school are the "emo posers." Theres way more of them then there is of preps. And the poser emos don't like me.. neither do the preps..
