Right, it's my birthday on the 13th November and I'll be sixteen.
My friend Jenny has just had her sixteenth and had an amazing party. She invited about 14 of us and we went ice-skating then back to her house for a BBQ e.t.c.
I was thinking of going to my uncle's (he has an indoor pool) and going swimming along with going on the boat in his lake and on the quad bikes and the battery-run car and stuff which I've done in the summer other years and inviting tons of people from school. However, this is November, England. My dad said that we can't use the quad bikes because it will be wet down there and muddy, the battery-run car is broken, the lake won't be safe because it floods and that basically leaves us with just swimming. It's all very well but some of the girls might not be able to go swimming and we'll be stuck for something to do after swimming.
My mum won't spend any money on the occassion because she's 'low' on money right now and my dad apparently won't pay half (even though he will). My idea of going out for a meal afterwards has gone out of the window.
I don't want a sleepover.
I don't want a disco.
Any suggestions for another kind of party with a low budget??
Thanks
